Atlanta, GA! He hasn't been here since 2009 with a one-off outdoor in 90 degree heat in August (and it rained) concert! (I knew I would have not been able to take it so I didn't go--Audi, I know you went--how was it really?)

I vote for announcing more shows!!!

It rained midway through the show for about half an hour -- which was probably a good thing, as I was getting hot-under-the-collar from being eye-balled by the park's security for nearly the whole show -- like I'm a terrorist or something. Racial-profiling, anyone? The Nashville show more than made up for it.

I went to see Eric Clapton 2 years ago..... that was my first time seeing him ever.... he did not play my favorite songs like " tears in heaven, father's eyes, after midnight .etcc..... but was I pissed off??? No, It actually made me respect Eric even more.....I respected the fact that he dared to play album cuts and songs from his new album....something that Paul must do!!!!!! He likes to show of his electric guitar playing skills....great....Paul show show it off with " the world tonight" or " About you" Paul loves to show off his piano skills? " great, instead of lady madonna, show it off with Ballroom dancing or something You get the idea???? He likes to show off his acousitc guitar playing skills???? great , instead of blackbird, show your skills off with " a certain softness or distractions...

(although I'd prefer that Paul play bass on "Distractions"...so tasty)

That's crazy! In Atlanta you'd think there'd be more than one black guy at a McCartney concert!

I am bringing my guitar to the campsite and I will play only solo macca and wings songs the night before to get people fired up and helping them be familiar with the songs. No Beatles songs what so ever, only solo and wings songs. Let's all come together, Let's start a movement here......

Cool! People can hear solo and Wings songs at the campsite and a ton of Beatles songs when McCartney performs!!

Well, it made security's job much easier: They could just focus on me. So convenient. There were a few other strange things that happened, including an obviously planted chick who approached me and insisted that she wrote "My Love" -- apparently, this was to test me to see if I was a real fan. I just subtly moved over a bit closer to my two buddies -- both of whom are uber-W.A.S.P.y white guys. I understand that security is necessary, but when you look at all the perpetrators in mass-shootings and homegrown terrorism...those guys don't exactly look like me. Again, all was forgiven the following year at the Nashville show.

You are preaching to the choir here. I am pretty sure most of us would love to hear more solo & Wings stuff in Paul's set. I sure would! But I have stopped *expecting* him to offer up any drastic changes at this point. Right now my dream Paul concert is a solo acoustic show, but I doubt that I will ever see one. But I am glad you are such a big fan of the solo material, there are so many people who do not buy his solo albums and are missing out on some wonderful music, for sure.

What happened to that Fireman-only gig?

I vote for Monroe, Louisiana.
You gotta be kiddin'..it took me 16 yrs. to get out of that place! Who would want to go there?! And as far as I know ,Paul just doesn't do tours in the deep south..ever.

[Bonnaroo Comedy Tent] "You Know You're A Deadneck If" (Aziz Ansari, Nick Kroll and David Cross): Aziz Ansari, Nick Kroll and David Cross perform a hilarious tribute to the Blue Collar Comedy tour that pokes fun at both rednecks and Deadheads.
(beware: a couple of dirty words here n' there) -

Ya' know...I could almost live with this. As one who prefers Paul's more current material, this list is lacking songs from the past ten years. Other than that, this is a show that would make everyone very happy.

Perhaps he might want to throw in some "Please Please Me" songs, due to its 50th anniversary. "ISHSThere", "PPM", "Twist & Shout" and why not "Love Me Do / PS I Love You". Who knows? And I still hope that "Oh! Darling" makes its debut, even if Paul would have to drastically lower the key.
