Apparently there is no "order" to this. No one officially says where the line for headliners is. So...we just need to stake it out. And, if we're the first ones there, WE say that's the line! (and hopefully what we says goes, right Alvita??)
Yes, cut in front of us at your own risk... In all seriousness, I'm actually looking forward to waiting in line all day. It's a cool opportunity to meet other fans and get really excited about the show! I had a great time in Atlanta. p.s. What's with the big space in the middle of the pit?!
Will there be a spot to wait all day or will we just start lining up when the act before Paul takes the stage? Won't there be people there lining up for the main stage acts all day?

Some people would prefer Paul to really mix it up more this year with the new tour and Bonnaroo, so last night I wrote another set list that took that into account, while still being realistic. I'd like to know what everyone thinks, especially Paul and the band if they are reading this. Bonnaroo 2013 - You Never Know Lovely Rita Good Day Sunshine *"Good evening Bonnaroo, we can come to rock you tonight! Ah one, two, three, four!" I Saw Her Standing There Drive My Car Young Boy Sgt Pepper With A Little Help From My Friends Listen To What The Man Said Lady Madonna Maybe I'm Amazed Another Girl All My Loving Got To Get You Into My Life We Can Work It Out Blackbird Calico Skies Rocky Raccoon Eleanore Rigby Too Many People/She Came In Through The Bathroom Window She's Leaving Home Take It Away Band On The Run Back In The U.S.S.R. Jet Coming Up Penny Lane A Day In The Life/Give Peace A Chance The Long & Winding Road Let It Be Live And Let Die Hey Jude Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds Silly Love Songs Birthday Yesterday Get Back Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End

All the best, my friend. Brilliant list though.

Although it doesn't dig quite deeply enough, this is a great list. The second encore would need work. Still -- as-is -- this list is 100% possible. I'm impressed.
-
100% possible is a contradiction. ANYTHING is 100% possible! If I were a betting man, I would say that will not be the set list for 2013. Hope I'm wrong.

you'd be surprised...at bonnarroo there will be mainly younger kids...and the younger kids know his solo songs better than the old folks. The younger generations are actually the ones buying the records, doing research on the internet, youtubing it up etc....therefore, they are more familiar with macca's entire career. the older folks will go to his shows strictly on nostalgia...... paul needs to understand that, and perhaps we should bombard rusty and brian with messages via face book and let them know that the kids at bonnaroo want more wings and solo stuff!!!!! and not the same old beatles songs he's been playing for the past 10 years. having said that, this would be the best set list for bonnaroo: 1 : so glad to see you here / jet 2: i saw her standing there 3: letting go 4: coming up 5: my brave face 6: about you 7: and your bird can sing 8 beautiful night 9 1985 10 my valentine 11: maybe im amzed 12: heart of the country 13: and i love rher 14: here there everywhere 15: michelle 16: hope 17: mr vandebilt 18: here comes the sun 19: young boy 20: band on the run 21 obladi 22: and your bird can sing 23 with a little luck 24: your mother should know 25: oh woman oh why 26: listen to what the man said 27: live and let die 28 let it be 29 hey jude 30: good night tonight 31 no more lonely night 32: can't buy me love 33: birthday 34: helter skelter 35: good bye 36: yesterday 37: ever present past 38: golden slumbers great set list, great concept...great everything!!!!!

Wow. It just keeps getting better and better! We'll know in a few months.
-
While I love the idea of a new setlist, and Paul changing it up, let's be real. It will probably be the same show he's been playing for years, with the usual minor updates to the set. Which, by the way, I'm totally OK with. I'll love it just as much as I always do. Think about it from Paul's point of view. There will (presumably) be a lot of people at this show who have never seen Paul before. People who will be thrilled to see a legend, but that haven't bought a ticket for his show in the past. Therefore....they haven't seen his recent tours. So...why change it up when the majority of the crowd has never heard any of the songs live? They'll be thrilled with the excellent show he's been playing for the past decade (with changes here and there). I could be wrong. And, if I am - then OMG it will be amazing! But, guess what? If I'm right...OMG it will be amazing! I just hate for people to expect something different and set themselves up for disappointment. Ain't nobody got time for disappointment at a Paul show!
-
+1 to what she said, above.
-
I hope I get something new for my $600.00.
-
This setlist talk is driving me CRAZY!!! Lets just be grateful that we can see Paul. This setlist crap is getting really immature. If you don't like the setlist, don't see him!
-
And stagnant setlists are driving me crazy. All a matter of perspective. I would encourage those -- who advise others to avoid the concerts -- that they should avoid threads where setlists are all-but-guaranteed to be discussed.
-
I WISH Paul McCartney would perform his current set list in Albuquerque, NM!!!

38 songs is a bit much, as is playing And Your Bird Can Sing twice. Can't leave out Back In The USSR as it's generally one of the best songs of every Paul show I've seen (seen 8 of them). Opener is weak and anti-climatic, as is doing encores with Goodbye and Ever Present Past. 4 encores might be over kill. It would be cool to see this set list just because it's different, but I think it's far from ideal. Too many slow songs. The Beatles have 27 #1 songs, most written by Paul and you only have him playing 4 of them.

This is the Rock Show forum taking about a Paul McCartney concert, WTF are we suppose to talk about?
-
What if Paul started Paul McCartney Fest - A four day festival featuring Paul McCartney and his band playing every song Paul McCartney ever wrote? Held once a year this festival gives fans around the world nothing to complain about and everything to be happy about. 12-15 hours of Paul McCartney music a day, every day, for four days. The only thing we can argue about now, is where Paul should play Paul McCartney Fest.

I think Albuquerque, New Mexico is the obvious choice!

We have one vote for Albuquerque.

I vote for Monroe, Louisiana.
