I doubt he has time to check in here. He has "people" to do that for him.

Maybe Sir Paul McCartney DOES check his website

@question-mark Just makes sense that he would. Because of who he is, he would never be able to let us know of course, and that's ok! 👍

@question-mark My best guess would be that if Sir Macca were to interact on this site, that he would use a nom de plume

@question-mark Well if he IS ever on here under an alias, he sure doesn’t ever take our advice! We’ve been asking for YEARS for him to change his setlists and add more solo material (from the 21st century!) Anything but the same songs we’ve heard a million times! And why does he keep doing Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!? And his stage patter! Please tell some new stories! I could go on but I’m tired of beating this dead horse.

@question-mark I'm sure there's all kinds of secret names he could use, but "Big Mac" wouldn't work... since it's a burger and all. 🤓

@njr It's interesting, Nancy, that Paul has said at a few shows that he's either read or heard that people want him to change his setlist or sing different songs, and he said basically, "But we don't care, we're going to sing what we want anyway" to thunderous applause. (We'll have to check YouTube for video clips of his shows to find exact quotes etc.) So... just from those comments... it seems likely either he or "his people" (as 00bu24 said) are reading comments and suggestions people have posted online. (Not just from the Maccaboard, but he also has a Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram.)

Everyone has the right to voice their opinion but the choices and decisions are really up to Paul of course. As an artist it seems like he's comfortable with how he uses his setlist so it's doubtful he'd change what seems natural to him.

@ladyleslie What is really disappointing to me is that Paul does not care about the thousands of people who buy his solo albums for years and may actually want to hear more of it live. Unlike the "Beatle Paul" fans who just spend money on concerts, we actually spend our hard-earned money on his solo music in addition to seeing him live in the hopes of hearing that music. Sadly, quite a few of us gave up on him really changing things and after decades of going to his shows stopped going. I agree with "oobu24" and think Paul's people may check this site but not him.

@njr As you know Nancy, I have been on the band wagon about this for many years. Yourself, BJ and several others have beaten this dead horse for way too long. My personal answer to this was to stop seeing him live because he was not going to play songs I wanted to hear. What does it say about Paul when he prefers to play a "B" type Beatle song (Benefit Of Mr. Kite) which he did not sing lead over so many good solo songs never done live. The story thing really makes me wonder about him. Is it really that hard to just talk to the audience "off the cuff" and not have to stay to the script he has used for so long. One last thing, ever notice he never tells a story about solo song with the exception of "Here Today" (wonder why -lol). The only thing he will say is something like "this is a new song" when it is from his most current album. Maybe if he tried a little harder he might get the audience interested in hearing something new. Oh well -lol

@yankeefan2 I understand what you're saying. I'd love to hear Paul perform "The Rockestra Theme" from "Back to the Egg" and "Silly Love Songs" and other music from his repertoire that we don't hear often, and think fans would love that. Not saying I don't agree with you, I guess I just accept that Paul is comfortable in how he does his set list, and isn't likely to change, and that's ok for me, and not a big deal. But other fans have the right to express however they feel, and can respect that.

As far as Paul quietly visiting the Maccaboard.... I think it's possible he could view our posts (and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) from time to time if he feels like it (he no doubt has a PC, laptop and IPhone!), so it just seems logical. 🤔 I'm sure he has people at MPL who look at his social media and the maccaboard and advise him, but that doesn't mean he couldn't get online and look at things himself. If he ever were to pop in here as a one time nick and have fun posting to us, we'd never know for sure, and that's ok too... 🤓
