New Release coming of 7" Singles

@njr As mentioned previously, it seems like a lot at one time, but the pricing was quite reasonable if you think about it, really.
Most Record Store Day singles now range from $7-$12.99 upon release on average. This comes out to far less, 80+ singles, all in one, and in a beautiful, (curated by Paul) package.

I know what you’re saying, but most of us don’t have that kind of cash to plunk down for it. I did in 2021, but then I went on 2 expensive Beatles-related vacations in 2022 (that had been scheduled then cancelled in 2020 & 2021) and had to put my mom in a Senior Living (semi-assisted) facility in Sept. at $3095/mo. so there’s that.
No vacations for me in the near future and no large Beatles/Paul-related purchases either. -
A lot of money to have to turn everything over every three and a half minutes.
I might be wrong.
I can only have six different versions of Abbey Road... comes a time to just let things be.

I only have my original vinyl 1969 Abbey Road and a cassette tape I made of it!

@njr I have the original LP from the 60s. I have (somewhere) the Abbey Road picture disc ( Sgt Pepper, too) I have Abbey Road on cassette, copied from the album, for my Sony walkman, from 1987, which I still use. Took it out yesterday. I have Abbey Road on CD. I used tracks from it for my movie about the Beatles in London. The last stop I visited was at AR studios, I wanted to use some AR music tracks for that part of my film. Love Abbey Road, but I aint buying it anymore!! Lol!

Oh, yeah, I forgot! I have the British & American CDs too (the ones that were released as a box set with all the Beatles CDs) And whenever they released the CDs for the first time in 1987, I have that one too!

Did I mention the white album? I bought it when it first came out LP version. Then bought it on cassette. Then bought it on white vinyl. Now have it on cd. Oh to be young and stupid. Old and stupid is much better. I don't buy anything other than on CD once. PERIOD!! No remasters. No remixes. No nothing. I just buy once and once only.

I have the original 1968 vinyl I got when it was released (probably cost less than $10 but thought that was a fortune as a 13-year-old!), the Master Recording version in vinyl - my step-dad got for me in the ‘80s, the CD that was released in 1987, and the British & American CDs that came in the box sets I mentioned earlier.

While it’s nice that it contains many of the B-sides that are included on my Lefttovers and Rarities Idea, I don’t believe it will be largely successful. To me, it’s a g00d c0llector’s item but I’m far more of an album/cd guy. What it doesn’t have are many of the unreleased gems, live versions and other rarities I would have to have as part of my personal playlists. I will post my ideas for a Leftovers and rarities

Isn’t there already a thread for that on here? If so, I’m sure you’ve posted in it!
