@littlewillow I'm not angry. I haven't a clue why that word is there. Definitely the work of the "Blue Meanies". Looks like they are still causing trouble after 50 something years!!!

@kㅤ Yes that is strange why they are so expensive because McCartney originally bought a Hoffner because they were cheap. As we all know the Beatles were very poor in the early days, they had virtually no money at all. The money never came rolling in till their success really took off. AND Hoffner bass guitars are ONLY iconic BECAUSE of Paul McCartney. Hoffner bass. "The Beatle bass". With out him, they would probably wouldn't be famous at all.

The Hofner was expensive because it was signed by Paul!

And that’s because it’s the type bass Paul has played since 1961 and made it world famous. Hofner knows they can get big bucks for them.
