To my McCartney team @paulmccartneycom
I find it unfortunate that the "Submit Your Questions" section has been removed from Mr. McCartney's site. Now you have to go to social media to maybe have a chance to get an answer to your question. For people like me who don't want to go on social media, this is really not fair. When we have a wonderful forum, why can't we have a chance to have our questions answered too?
That's it.
Thank you very much for your answer.
Have a nice day

I agree, I do not understand why social media is necessary.

Pretty sad that Paul McCartney's official web site and fan forum does not allow you to submit questions. I understand an artist using social media but why can't they do both. My goodness, this is not some random fan site, it is the site created by Paul's team. Maybe, his team thinks we may ask some challenging questions and not the same old lame Beatle stuff that he can answer in his sleep. I wonder what happened to the musical he was writing that got stopped by COVID and would love an answer. IMO that question will not be asked on social media. I would love to be proved wrong. Any bets on whether they reply to your question? -lol

Because according to “the powers that be” if a celebrity isn’t on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, they might as well pack it in!

Oh @Yankeefan2 I don't bet anything. Because I'm not sure about social media. I would love to have some answers to my "musical" questions. But I'm afraid not. That's just the way life is. You have to deal with it. But I agree with you completely on the rest. It scares the hell out of me.

@NJR Yes, social media is trendy too. If you're not on it, then you're out of date. Forums like this one are actually getting rarer and rarer. Almost everything goes through social media. I'm glad this forum still exists and hasn't sunk like the others. A while ago I was afraid.

Even when you try to be serious you can't. But you are right about one thing. There are forum members who are leaving or not active at all. Like @love2travel . @LITTLE-LAURA I haven't seen in a few months. I saw that there are also new members. For the moment not very active. -

@wandy Yes, please continue. You have talent and I'm not kidding.

Just for clarification, I did not mean an actual bet of money. It was just a figure of speech. Like I said, it makes sense before for any artists to be on social media today and I don't have a problem with Paul or anybody doing it. I do think it is absurd and insulting that fan's on Paul's own website are not allowed the same choices as people on his social media outlets.

@Yankeefan2 Don't worry, I understood that it was a way of speaking. And I agree with you. It's really not fair. But then, as my father says: it's possible that Mr. McCartney's team favors social media because there is not enough traffic on the site and the forum and that it's also expensive. Especially in personnel.
Then it may be that there are other reasons. But I don't know them. It's their internal shenanigans.
I also think the problem is that there are too many of us. But this does not exclude the question of "why they removed the submit your questions section". -

Your very kind lilwillow. I have decided not to tour America until my Beatles London dvd gets to number one there. Then I'm going to tour by train and first stop will be Washington in the winter, with the Press onboard my train
