Working on You Know My Name (Look Up The number).
You know, I knew that, but that song wasn't released until Mar. 6, 1970 as the flip side of Let It Be! Insane!
"You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles originally released as the B-side of the single "Let It Be" on 6 March 1970. Although first issued with their final single (penultimate single in the United States), it was recorded in four separate sessions beginning with three in May and June 1967, with one final recording session conducted in April 1969. The song features a saxophone part played by Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones.

I learn something new every day. I never knew 1967 was the genesis of that song. I thought much later.
It's a fun song. Not worthy of an album release, of course.... then again, given the great songs the Beatles had on B-sides, it's not even worthy of that.
But I like it... as a bit of fun. With 'What's the new Mary Jane'.
The Beatles mucking around.

Yeah,I knew you knew that. What I find interesting though is that until relatively recently, no one knew what song the Beatles were working on as the actual date couldn't be pinpointed. I only found out in 2015 with the publication of Looking Through You.

Is this from that same photoshoot where they were eating ice cream cones? I know it's 1963. Kestrel?

Never saw this circa 1958 photo of Ringo before he grew the beard.

Yes it was, on 2nd July, the day after they recorded She Loves You. The photo was taken in Rupert Court.

Thanks! Pretty sure our tour guide took us down that court in 2011.

George on the same day as that Paul pic I posted: Aug. 21, 1966
Someone posted on FB a semi-blurry b&w pic of George from that day and asked "Is this John?" You would not believe the responses! That thread is about a mile long. Even though it wasn't a great pic, it was clearly George because his Epiphone Casino had a Bigsby vibrato arm and John's doesn't. Also, his guitar strap is dark and John's was a light color. Plus the sunglasses they were wearing were different. Some people kept saying it was John or a Beatles tribute band George!
P.S. I tried to copy/download the original photo, but it is a 3-D photo (I hate those damn things) and it won't let you copy it. Here's a link to John that day:

Found the original photo! Now, does this look remotely like John?

Some morons thought it was Roger Daltrey!

I somehow all these years missed this, but George also had his Epiphone Casino sanded down in the late '60s!

Yes, where Paul met Peggy Lipton.
