June 25, 1967 before Our World “All You Need Is Love” satellite broadcast. Just fooling around or could they actually play those instruments?

Either Jan. 30 or 31, 1967. Filming Strawberry Fields Forever promo film.

I think Jackie Spencer, Liverpool tour guide extraordinaire, took this yesterday:

@oobu24 The b & w photo of PGR standing in a church doorway, and John nearest the camera, was taken in St Pancras, London, in what became the Beatles mad day out. I used to run an online Yahoo Beatles Group We used to meet up about 3 times a year, doing Beatles stuff. We have stood in that doorway ourselves. I used to film our exploits. Some of the Beatles mad day out pics appeared in the Beatles Red and blue greatest hits albums.

@wandy I probably have all the Mad Day Out photos saved on Photobucket, plus I have Tom Murray’s book of photos. He signed it for me in 2019 at Abbey Road On The River in Louisville, KY. He was one of the 3 photographers there that day (July 28, 1968) I first met him in 2016 at the Beatles convention (Beatleweek) He was also staying at our same hotel (Hard Day’s Night) and we road up the elevator with him one time!

@nancy-r Wouldn't it be better if he came back as a man on a flaming pie?
-
@haileymccomet That's a cool "1869" pic. Pity Rocky Racoon isn't in it

Once again you’re replying to a very old post of mine when I was Nancy R. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

@njr They are coming up as unread postings to me.

I understand that since you weren’t around here back then. But please quote the post or give some explanation of what you’re responding to so we know what you’re talking about! Thanks!

If you hover on that gray box, it shows the date of the post he's referring to. But Wandy...answering posts that old...most of the people are looong gone.

Thanks - I figured out what he was referring to (a photo of the Threetles with a white peacock that I said was John - remember him telling Julian “white feather” and later that’s what Julian named his charitable organization?)

@oobu24 They might be old posts, but all I do is hit the "reply"button. And I'm thinking by hitting the reply button, the post that I'm replying to, is above my reply. Seems it don't work that way. Strange days indeed. Most peculiar mama!!

You need to hit the quote button like I just did. If there is a photo in the post, they don’t want you to post that, which is stupid, but if you could just reply and describe the photo that would be most helpful. Thanks.

@njr I'll post you know, whatever you want me to post. Or I won't post at all, if you don't want me to post”.
