Mar. 8, 1958
Today in 1958, there was a wedding reception at 147 Dinas Lane, in the Liverpool home of Paul’s Auntie Gin. His 19-year-old cousin Ian Harris, marrying 16-year-old Jackie Gavin, had asked Paul to arrange the musical entertainment, so along came Quarrymen John Lennon, George Harrison (who'd joined the group the previous month) and probably Eric Griffiths.Taken by Mike McCartney, these are the first photos to capture 17-year-old John (with his acoustic three-quarter-sized Gallotone Champion), 15-year-old Paul (Framus Zenith Model 17) and 15-year-old George (Hofner President) together... in colour.
Downing a Guinness at far right in the bottom-right pic: Ian's friend Dennis Littler who, in 1984, told the Daily Express newspaper:
“When Paul, John and George started rehearsing their own group at Aunty Ginny’s they actually looked up to us… They even pleaded to join us. We turned them down flat - too young and too inexperienced. They were all still at school. We were slightly older, we had been going longer than them… they all wanted to take it in turn to borrow my [Antoria Cello acoustic] guitar. John had paid 30 bob (£1.50) for his battered guitar. Mine had cost £19 on hire purchase, which in those days was a fortune. In three weeks, Paul was playing better than I could ever hope to. It didn’t make any difference to him that he was left-handed and my guitar was not. He could play anything. After a few spins of Little Richard’s 'Long Tall Sally' record he could knock out the right chords on the piano and make it sound right… ”

Yep! And that’s how you delete a quoted photo - just hit the delete button until the link for it is gone.
Never been in a forum like this before. You quote a photo and it gets deleted??? I think this is going to be my last comment here. From here on in, or out, I'm going to be a "lurker".
You’re just a born rule-breaker is all!
You’re “a villain, a real mixer. Costs you a fortune in breach of promise suits.”
We don't have BOP laws here now. They went long ago.

Yeah, we don’t have them here either.
We used to have “palimony” though. This is interesting:

Don't know about the USA, but over here, I think most of the craziest ones were based on religion. I avoid religion at all costs. It messes with your mind.
