David Grohl Book

I highly recommend the book by David Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) called "The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music". I received the book on Sunday as a Father's Day present from my daughters and finished it a couple of hours ago. He really does tell stories very well and they start from the time he joined his first band (Scream) at 17 until the current day with the "Foo Fighters". Stories range from life on the road as a struggling musician, times with musicians he admired and worked with and balancing life as a parent with touring with his band. There are several times in the book when Paul is mentioned which is neat. I will have to say one of my favorite stories of a celebrity was the time Joan Jett read bedtime story to his youngest daughter. It really is a very enjoyable read and IMO you don't really have to be a fan of the "Nirvana/Foo Fighters" to enjoy the book. I always thought David Grohl was kind of a cool guy and this book reinforces it to me.
