I'm surprised we've only gotten "Eight Days a Week"....I mean it's safe to assume that Save Us, All My Loving, and Listen To What The Man Said followed....but there is a chance of Jet returning....maybe even Junior's Farm! Would be nice to have confirmation
I know that "My Valentine," "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five," "The Long and Winding Road," "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Another Day" have been played, but I'm not sure what other songs have been played.
I was hoping My Valentine would have retired by now... But I do respect it, since it's a song for Nancy. Another song I'd personally like to see retire, but never will.... Eleanor Rigby...
I'm okay with one more round of My Valentine....but he really doesn't have a good replacement for it, as in, a dedication to Nancy. He's got plenty of piano ballads to take the slot in a heartbeat! Eleanor Rigby has been my intermission the past two years. Not that I've left the concert, but that's the midway song I depend on so I can sit down for two minutes.
I like the song "Eleanor Rigby," but I hate the arrangement that Paul uses when he plays it live.

HA! Good point.. it's the "nice time to take a breather" moment. I do that on Blackbird too... But I would ever want to see that one go. and Here Today still reals me in while I think of John

I agree. Would have liked to hear Jet return. I missed that one last year. Junior's Farm I could give or take.. Hi Hi Hi was a good one.. I hope that one stays!
Jet was the only song I really missed last year. I'd like to have that back as the second song. I've heard Junior's Farm three times, that can go so he can keep Listen To What the Man Said....and also say to take out All My Loving for Save Us (that's what he did for Only Mama Knows)!
Yeah, I was really impressed with Listen to What the Man Said. It was never a favorite of mine, but I gained a new respect for it after hearing it live last year. The laser lights really went well with the overall effects and created a great vibe with the music! I also LOVED Letting Go from 2010.. Doubt we'll get it back.. but it was smokin!
I had been waiting for Listen To What The Man Said for sometime....it was one of those smash 70's hits he's simply been ignoring for years. Letting Go was a real treat in 2010. It deserved more time in the show, but I doubt we'll ever hear it again.

And it doesn't get any love... The crowd is dead on it.. They just want more and more Beatles...

Add 'Lady Madonna'.

Luis Suarez (Liverpool FC footballer, born in Uruguay) interview with Paul McCartney, earlier tonight:
Not sure what it means, but reports from the concerts that McCartney "sends his love" to Suarez. Setlist so far the same: Eight Days a Week Save Us All My Loving Listen to What the Man Said Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady Paperback Writer My Valentine Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five The Long and Winding Road Maybe I'm Amazed I've Just Seen a Face We Can Work It Out Another Day And I Love Her Blackbird Here TodayThanks! Was hoping we would've had one of the new rumoured songs in by now....feeling skeptical as ever
Me too, me too... All hopes on the encore. (Let me emphasize for the last time on the fact that I'm good with a not-changed setlist, since... well something with Europe and 15 new additions and 'Your Mother Should Know' and tears).
-
Oh yes, in all fairness, he really shouldn't be expected to change much, if anything. He's not re-selling the Out There show to any markets that he did last year.
-
-
'Paperback Writer' earlier. Aaaand 'All Together Now' now. 'Lovely Rita' too. 'Looooong And Winding Road' snippet:
-
Hey everyone...thanks for the pics!

Very true. I actually thought last year was his best set list yet. Loved the newbies.. Your Mother Should Know, Lovely Rita, Mr. Kite, etc etc... Just because us loyal fans follow him year to year doesn't mean he should change it all around just for us I'll take whatever he plays this year. After all, he's coming to Pittsburgh!!
-
This could be the 'Alligator' spot. Instead of 'Evvybdyouthere' *crickets... Fingers crossed.
-
Thanks for sharing, everyone!
-
Thanks for the set list update! If we get 'Alligator' after 'Everybody Out There', then I'm sure we will get 'Silly Love', but if don't... mmm, same set list from last year...

of course we all would & will take whatever he plays...but why not shake it up a bit? He is not going to be doing this forever. althoughwho knows.

A combination of, and smart searches (geotags in TweetDeck, following users who are posting updates, and so on).
