What albums do you listen to most?

@bruce-m Thanks Bruce. A fresh McCartney album will help make 2024 special.

@toris I have Anthology on VHS as well as DVD too! I just display the VHS set in my Beatles room!

I never listen to Wild Life or McCartney II. If I play solo Paul, it will be Flaming Pie and/or Band On The Run. Nothing else comes close. On Tug of War, I really don't care for Stevie Wonder's contributions. He makes it more about him on What's That You're Doing....he dominates the song.....and I never cared for Ebony and Ivory. I do like The Pound Is Sinking and Wanderlust a lot, however. Non Paul or Beatles?......it would likely be The Moody Blues and/or ELO. But.....I rarely listen to any particular album or individual artist anymore...not even Adele...and certainly not Taylor Swift!!!! I have playlists of favorite Newer Songs....all up to the minute..., favorite Older songs (60's, 70's and 80's) and Pop Memories...pre-Beatles era material such as Del Shannon, Ricky Nelson, The Skyliners, Gene Pitney, Roy Orbison......and many others from that era. Sometime watching a TV show...such as several series on Netflix, I hear songs that I really like but am not necessarily familiar with until I research or select a Sirius XM Station that plays new music, such as on alternative rock...Lewis Capaldi (Someone you Loved and Before You Go) and Twenty One Pilots (Stressed Out), for example. I look on line and buy quite a few that way......such as spending over $800 that I on iTunes so far!!!!

@toris I still have THREE working VHS players! I have a boatload of stuff I recorded off the TV about the Beatles! (since 1983 until about 2018 I stopped) Some I’ve replaced over the years with professional VHS tapes, then DVDs when they came out (like The Anthology) My friend Jennifer makes DVDs for me of stuff she gets from a friend. Every Christmas I get a nice surprise. She says I don’t have to get her anything, but I’m getting her the new Rolling Stones album that Paul is on. (You think I’M a completist? She is the ultimate completist!) Her mom is getting her the Dolly Parton album that Paul & Ringo are on!
Was I dreaming, or did I just last night listen to Let it Be, by Dolly, with Paul and Ringo on there?... I fluked it, on my You Tube journey.... I love You Tube!.... I've got my Anthology... cost me heaps on VHS. No longer viable. Of course, I replaced it on DVD. I just hope DVDs don't get made obsolete any time soon!... ps. Dolly was good.
It's from Dolly's new album, Rockstar, which has a whole bunch of guest stars besides Paul and Ringo -- Debbie Harry, Steven Tyler, John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett and many more. It's gotten mixed reviews, but at least a couple have been really positive.
