Let's make it an all day/night thing--11 AM (I like to sleep in) to 2 or 3 in the morning! I'm assuming that you are female Of course after 12 we break out non-soft drinks On to today's Beatle mail (fresh from the freezing cold mail box): George Harrison - Greatest Hits (Parlophone for the Russian market, these issues are excellent value for the money and very good quality) Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie (MPL) John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band: The Definitive Authorized Story of the Album (Eagle Vision) And a nice surprise...George Martin's book "With A Little Help From My Friends: The Making of Sgt. Pepper." The price on this used book varies from $33 (good) to over $100 (very good). I decided to order a "good" copy first, before plunking down over $100 for a very good or like new copy. The copy I just received from used seller "Books For America" came shipped in a box (!!) and padded. It's an excellent copy which is "Like New" with an inscription inside which is a nice touch. So I ended up getting a great deal. And another DVD for the viewing party

The new re-release of Live at the BBC v1 and the new V2. Got the V2 shirt as well
-
Meri, What shirt did you get?? I bought my two copies (V1 & V2) at Best Buy here in the US...got good prices, but no shirt Stuff in England always seems to be of higher caliber in terms of packaging, content, quality. I bought my remastered Beatles LP set from Amazon in France to get the German pressing as opposed to the US versions which had a lot of issues. Where in England are you located? My wife is from the Bath/Bristol area originally. Next time I go to London on business I'll have to check out the Beatles releases available over there.

Let's just say that she was not amused when Fedex delivered the box to my doorstep today--I tried to say my buddy Tom ordered it, but I guess I've used that one too many times b4 (I used to send guitars to his house too ) The "delivery" I'm expecting next week I'm sure will go over about as well as "a fart in church" If you don't see me posting here again after that you'll know what happened
