Redoing the 1970s

As we are all painfully aware, the last Archives album was nearly for years ago with Flaming Pie.
With the 50th anniversary of the early to mid 1970s, we have the Band on the Run overdubs back in February which I really enjoyed as the vocal tracks on some are different as well as the instrumental backing. The sequencing is different and it is nice to hear Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five sounded very raw, stripped of vocals. Overall, a nice addition to the Archives edition of 2010.
And now coming in June, One Hand Clapping from 1974, fifty years later. Just ordered the two LP vinyl with addition of the 7 inch disc. Looking forward to hearing this early version of Twenty Flight Rock on the single as this one and the rough one in Get Back from 2021 are as probably as close as we will get to hearing it as it might have sounded when played to John Lennon as a certain church fete on July 6, 1957.
If this trend continues, guess October will see an all early to mid 1970s version of Cold Cuts.
Still hoping for deluxe London Town with various versions of Mull of Kintyre.

If you go over to Steve Hoffman's boards, the Paul threads seem to be mostly taken up by people complaining about the Archives. I'm personally much more interested in unreleased tracks from the 2000s, but I suspect we won't get those till Paul's no longer with us. But I am looking forward to One Hand Clapping.

Thanks, I will take a look at that. I really like the BOTR 50th anniversary edition and am glad I got it. It differs enough from the original to make it seem somewhat “new.”

@john-mackintosh Except for "Send Me the Heart" we probably already have all the tracks that would have been on the 1975 version which was called Hot Hits and Cold Cuts at that point. I know it got as far as having an Apple catalog number assigned to it which ended up being used for Lennon's Rock 'n' Roll but I've never seen a track listing for it. I'd like to get the 1981 version with the London Town and Back to the Egg outtakes.
