    What's the policy on bringing cameras into the shows?

      does the lens come off? That's usually the rule...nothing detachable.

      Similar rules here in the UK, Wow just Googled the camera and what a nice one it is too but i don't know if that where mine i don't think i'd chance it,you may well run into Mr jobsworth and it'd ruin your night. Lovely camera though.

        Yes the diameter of the lens is large enough to attract attention because it doesn't look like a point and shoot, so it's possible you will get hassled if they spot it, especially if you are sitting close. So even if you can prove its a point & shoot, you would miss a song or two dealing with security. If you bring it be very careful.

          Thanks, everyone. Yeah, we waited a long time to get it and he's so happy with it. It's definitely not a point and shoot (it's a DSLR) and we'll be in the 17th row, so my guess is security is likely to give us a problem?

            I would say security will give you a problem with that camera. Bring a point and shoot and you should be safe.
