RE: 'Hitch Hike' at the Apollo Theater
i never heard that song before "hitch hike" but it was very catchy; I'm glad Paul performed it. I thought Paul handled the mishap with class and humor. I never thought of a 'spiritual' aspect of the mishap, but yeah, I agree, it could be true.

RE: Where Were you when George died?
it was morning and i was still lying in bed and my brother told me. i didn't even think, I just got up and ran to the tv and stared at the news. I spent the whole day watching the news, tributes, fans crying. i desparatly wanted to go to Strawberry Fields in NYC to be with all the other fans, remembering him. i knew the day was coming, but i didn't want it to. for weeks radio hosts were saying insensitive stuff like "his days are numbered..." as a fan, you just don't want to hear that, you know? it was such a sad day.

RE: having problems today with board
Yay!! I'm not the only one! I haven't been able to log onto this board for almost a week. Kept getting a white screen, then the "page could not be found message" I totally agree with Kestrel, if there are problems on the board why don't they post it on the home page. I checked there yesterday and it didn't say anything. I even e-mailed the admin for help, don't know if anyone else did, but if they post a little notice then less people would worry.

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
I have a question about the girl and the tatoo: did Paul sign her arm after he sang the song Calico Skies or did he get distracted by her sign during the song and actually stopped singing the song and signed her arm?

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
That video where Paul signs her arm is PRICELESS!!! I love it, thanks for posting it. It's wonderful to watch a fans dream come true right in front of your eyes. For the set list discussion, I understand peoples fustration with the same songs over and over because Paul is so talented and has so many other great songs to choose from, so it would be nice to see him mix it up. But, as a fan who has never seen him live, I'd be just happy to be there, singing and dancing to those beloved tunes and I don't care what he sings. By now, we all know his set list doesn't change very much over the years, so it's really up to the individual to decide. Do you want to spend your money and your time there watching Paul sing the same songs? If yes, buy a ticket and have a good time. If not, don't buy a ticket and don't to his concert.

Dear John.....in 1980.....home video.....
thanks so much for sharing this link. It's so sad, if you think about what will happen in just a few months. John was just a regular guy spending time with his family.

Can anyone figure out why Paul starts giggling @ 1:40 ?
what a fun little interview!! I don't know why he laughed, but maybe he did something embarassing (like spit on someone by accident??) 'cuz George made a face and wiped his coat; Paul said 'excuse me' and giggled in an embarassed way. did you notice Ringo said "Tomorrow Never Knows"? He's seeing into the future!! LOL

I'm so happy for all of you who got to see it in person, what a night. Wonderful photos of NYC/the Dakota, MarkinSouthJersey, thanks for sharing them with us. RE: Moving Pictures - a thread for YouTube clips of the Beatles!
I have never seen an interview with John's Aunt Mimi, so when i saw this on You Tube I thought I'd share it. I know John and Mimi had a complex relationship, but it is apparent that they loved each other very much.

RE: "Underappreciated Genius."
thanks for posting this quote. It's very true, it's nice to see this quote coming from someone in the music business, who understands and appreciates music.

RE: Moving Pictures - a thread for YouTube clips of the Beatles!
John is talking about How Do You Sleep and Paul. The questions are asked to try and get John to say something nasty about Paul, I think, but John doesn't do it. He talks nicely about Paul, that's why I like this clip. And it's quite early after the break-up, 1971. "If I can't have a fight with my best friend, I'd like to know who I can have a fight with."

RE: Paul McCartney - YouTube Videos
This interview with Paul was just posted on You Tube, I really enjoyed it. It's a good interview!! I could only find part one and two. (the video acts up a little half way thru the interview, but it doesn't last long ) part one:
(it's interesting the part where he says that he was looking for the other 3 when he got knighted. I always thought that photo of him showing his medal was sad 'cuz the last time he was there, he was with John, George and Ringo. But to hear him say that, made me feel sad for him ) part two: -
RE: Moving Pictures - a thread for YouTube clips of the Beatles!
your welcome, Triplets Love Paul I agree, it's a very touching interview.

hi everyone, i just found this on You Tube. It's an interview with Olivia talking about George. I really enjoyed it, because I haven't seen very many interviews with Olivia. She seems like such a nice lady. It's a great little interview about George and makes me miss him a lot.
