I'd always imagined him doing an extended residency like Celine Dion or more recently Billy Joel. But those one off shows seem more likely... either way I'm taking advantage as much as I can today. You only regret the McCartney shows you didn't see not the ones you did

RE: Philadelphia - Pre-Sale Thread
Yep, back in 2010 I got 4th row on the piano side through Nashville pre-sale. There were at least a dozen boardies in the first 15 rows.... those were the days my friend

Any news on venue or local radio station presales? I don't have AMEX, so good luck to those trying through that.

The last time I was there was in 2010 but here is how the seat numbers run. Left to right if you are facing the stage. So for section 1 on the floor seat 1 is way over to the left with seat 12 being the last seat in that section. The middle section 2 was wider with 21 seats and seat 1 on the left and seat 21 on the right. Then section 3 with seat 12 being in the far right. As for the side sections. Facing the stage sections such as 113 and 114 the higher seat numbers are closer to the next higher section. For example the higher seat number in 113 is closest to 114. On the left side facing the stage for example sec 123 the lower seat number would be closer to the next lower section. Again this is how it was in 2010. I don't know if anything has changed.
Awesome! Thanks for the detailed response. I tried contacting Wells Fargo directly and no answer...

I refreshed and go the same exact seat again. For gold floor you need to choose floor in the drop down menu. I pulled up 1 in 6th row section 2... but I just can't swing the price this time around.

I'm on a mission now to find out which way the seat numbering runs.

Nice! this will make up for having to cancel my Amsterdam show plans. I'll be in Washington DC for an internship - just a 2 and half hour drive AND the show is on a weekend! Best of luck boardies on that presale!!

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
I feel for you Australia. What if you started a viral campaign? Set up a twitter and Facebook page. Come up with a hashtag #MaccaDoTheOz - obviously something better and let us know on the board. I'm sure all of us that have an account would re-tweet and share. You could make a YouTube video and ask people to reply with their own quick video telling Paul they go see him, why they're fans, etc. Make sure that all this get's sent to Paul's twitter account etc. Get some initial momentum going then contact Australian press - maybe they could write up a quick little blurb about it...

RE: Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors
For Lolla the curfew is 10 pm curfew (:shock and in the last 5 years headliners started 8:15, 8:30 or 8:45... based on that I'm thinking the Lolla show may be shorter based but Paul has pull so maybe he makes the show start earlier? I hope so

Would it be the day of the concert or the day after that a boardie meet up would happen if it were organised?
I'm fine with either of those dates. I'm also hoping Paul will sing Mull Of Kintyre, as he did in december 2011.
that's my dream!! Now I can finally travel abroad, I'll hopefully get to hear it finally

RE: Lollapalooza - Grant Park - Chicago, IL - 7/31/15 - ARCHIVE
I had to get mine on stubhub $150 and $158 so not super bad considering face is $110. I'll pay the premium to see him in my town with my Beatle friends that can't get more expensive seats at the regular concerts. Now I just need to calm down so I can get back to work : : :

RE: Lollapalooza - Grant Park - Chicago, IL - 7/31/15 - ARCHIVE
Ever since Coachella I've been thinking this is the year he comes to Lolla. I remember having this dream about it - then I went to the Green Concert in Atlanta and it was almost exactly like my dream (Memory Almost Full songs were on the setlist). So I thought maybe that was what I dreamt. This is the first year I wasn't thinking he'd do Lolla and bam! he goes and surprises me

RE: Event Travel VIP tickets posted 7-10 days before show?
It's something I also worried about. I contacted Event Travel basically saying I'd be in Europe by the time the ticket was sent and if there was a way to get it sent earlier. Got a response a day later (over the weekend mind you). From what I've heard they're pretty accommodating. Hope this helps! And you might want to contact them yourself. "Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee early shipping as often the tickets are not received into our office until about two weeks before the show and they then need to be allocated before we can send them out to you. However, we often send ticket packs to our clients who travel before the show (sometimes people follow the whole tour!) As long as we are aware that you are travelling we will be able to arrange to have your tickets delivered to your hotel or wherever you may be staying. The best thing to do would be to let us know once you have made your booking that you will be travelling from the date you leave your address in the US. We can then put a note in your booking so that we can contact you before shipping to find out the best address to send the tickets to. If you do have a proper itinerary of where you are staying then you can send this over and when the tickets are ready to send we will make sure they go to the right place - you will then be emailed to tell you when they have been despatched and to where."

RE: Fans on stage it's a no from me
The signing - at least the 3 I've seen - happen post-show. So people can very well head to the exits at that point. The only "interruption" is for the 10 seconds when he reads the signs. And the only time he's interrupted the show for a fan was in Nashville 2010 when he brought a kid on-stage to dance along with him during "Get Back". That being said, I remember him signing things after the show up until 2010 when a boardie got his Rock Band Hofner signed - I was unfortunately told by arena staff I couldn't bring in my RAM album (this was at one of the few shows he preformed Ram On - *sigh*)

RE: Paul McCartney 2015 Rumors
When he announces US shows, I'd love to see Toronto announced too (though it's probably a long shot). He hasn't been since 2010 although he did Ottawa in 2013...
