I love when Paul is performing with the rest of Nirvana. I think Cut Me Some Slack is great too, okay the vocals are a bit forced, but man it's rockin´! His guitar style is great too..

RE: Roskilde, Denmark - Roskilde Festival - 7/4/15 - ARCHIVE
Of course, the highlights for the main audience were Here Today, Blackbird, Band on the Run, Let It Be, Live and Let Die, Hey Jude and Helter Skelter. A lot of people commented on how strange it was that he played All Together Now. I was disappointed with Magical Mystery Tour and Save Us because it didn't work as an opening. However, a lot of the songs did work really great in the set. New was great live too. The reviews in the newspapers have given the show btw 3 and 5 stars out of 6, but the 3 Star review was given by a very infamous reviewer, who has made a career out of giving shocking reviews. Fantastic for me to hear Temporary Secretary live! 4 Stars from me..

RE: Roskilde, Denmark - Roskilde Festival - 7/4/15 - ARCHIVE
I don't think that there was a soundcheck, I just noticed a short test of the fireworks earlier in the day. Reactions to the show have been a bit mixed. People who were in the pit loved every bit of it, and people who stood in the back, like me, thought that it started a bit weak but finished very strong. The sound was very low in the beginning and Paul and the band suffered during the first songs. For me it started to change for the better with Temporary Secretary, that got people rocking. His voice during Maybe I'm Amazed was quite good and I was delighted to see how well Queenie Eye worked live. Hi, Hi, Hi was very strong as well. There were a lot of rumours that Paul would join Damon Albarn's African Express on another stage afterwards, but that didn't happen.

Great news! I bought my ticket to the Roskilde Festival a few minutes after the announcement. It will be my 18th time there and all the years I have dreamed about seeing Paul on the main stage..

RE: Dylan Wanted to Make an Album w/ Beatles and Stones
JoeySmith:
Dylan was well past his prime at this point, while the Beatles & Stones were very much in their primes. I can see why Dylan wanted to do this while the other bands didnt.
1969 was the year that Dylan released Nashville Skyline, which IMO is one of his best albums. His style was more country-oriented around that time. I would say that Dylan's prime is from 1965 to 1969.

RE: Video Game Music: "Destiny"
I also love Luca's book, especially when he mentions where and when the songs have been played live.. back to topic: can't wait for the announcement of the Hope single, hopefully it will be soon. I have my fingers crossed for a CD release, not just download.

RE: THE NEXT DELUXE/REMASTERED ALBUM FROM PAUL
Just listening to the new remasters for the very first time. So far, I'm blown away by the new and improved sound - it's like hearing the songs for the first time. I'm also very impressed by the V & M bonus disc.

RE: NEW COLLECTOR'S EDITION
I love the live versions from Tokyo of the songs from New! I think that the live version of Save Us is way better than the original.
