I'm kinda new to this posting thing, so please bear with me if this is an old subject for the rest of you. I've been searching the web for information on Brian Ray and it seems to be almost non-existent. There's plenty of info on Rusty out there, but almost nothing on Brian. I'm positive that I am not his only fan. Does anyone out there know any personal or professional facts about Brian?
Brian is on both myspace and facebook . he has an email list you can get on for updates on his music/concerts
LOL, Dreamseer knows Brian very well and Brian knows her too... you should check the date of that post...
HAHAHAHA yes, an eternity ago, i never look at the dates guess its time i did! LOL
Hi Paulsnurse, Yes... it does seem like a long time ago now that Brian's thread started .. can you believe we've all been posting here for nearly 6 years now !!
That's OK, Paulsnurse. This crowd enjoys giving everyone a hard time! Thanks for responding to my original post from oh-so-long-ago. And welcome to this thread! I can't believe it's been 6 years either, Dawn....Boy! Time flies when you're having FUN!!!
harleyblues:
I was there also!!~ @ LOVE that night They Say It's Dawn's Brirthday? Happy Birthday Dawn......~~~~
It was great, wasn't it??? HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAWN!!!!
Bag o' Nails:
The night before the Vegas concert, we went to see the 9:30 "Love" show and look who came out after the show.... (I'm on Brian's left side) He's quite a nice person and very friendly!
What a great photo! Yes, you're right. Brian's a very nice person and very friendly! Did you enjoy "Love"? Had you seen it before? I think I could watch it over and over!
Dawn:
Here's a new video blog from Brian , recording '' This Way Up '' his new cd , Part one,
I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing when it's all finished .
Thanks for the link, Dawn! Well, I have to say that I know FOR A FACT that "This Way Up" is FANTASTIC!!!! When I was at Brian's house this morning, he gave me a "sneak peek" of two of his new songs! One was a real rocker and the other was a ballad. OMG!!! I cannot WAIT to hear the entire CD!!!! Hang on to your hats, boys and girls! This one will blow you away!!!!!
Dawn:
Only two weeks now until the show in Tel Aviv !!!! I bet it'll be a great night . Also ... I can't believe that it's been 7 years today since the 9/11 disaster ! It's still so sad though .
I'll certainly never forget that day! I guess I never truly understood what life is like in some other countries until that day.
Kimsey:
Hey-ya:
Aww Dawn what would we do without you? Love the white flag smiley and to bring peace through music! I'm sure Kimsey will undestand now this is about Peace, love and friendship to you all S~
Okay, I'm sorry for the confusion I have caused here..........I did understand what Maggie said but did not understand why she said it and I meant no harm with my completely unnecessary comment...and I'm also a completely Peace&Love person.... however i know that i have made a complete idiot of myself with that comment... ops:
That's OK, Kimsey....we love you anyway!!! Peace and Love, y'all....all y'all!!!!
NYC Paul fan:
I'm sure he realizes he's in a rather elite, but incredibly important group for the future of the world... pioneering establishment of world peace. If half the money spent on studying war were given to peace experiments like his, we'd have it licked.
I agree completely with you, Maggie! There is way too much money spent on war and not nearly enough spent on true peace efforts! Hopefully, this show in Tel Aviv will make the world remember what real love and peace can achieve...just look what four guys from Liverpool started 40 years ago!!!

I thought everyone might get a chuckle out of reading the original post that started all this. We've found out a thing or two about Brian over the last 5 years, I think!
Dawn:
A message for the Brian Ray thread , from Brian himself ....... " HEY !! So, my thread here is 5 Years old today? Is that right? YAY... you all changed my life and I am so glad to have each of you in my life as well. Happy birthday to the BRT and thanks for starting it, Ronna!!! It's all your fault! I'm in London after 3 GREAT days of rehearsal with Paul in the south of England at his county studio. New blog from the road coming soon.. watch this space. Muuuaaaah! Brian "
You are very, very welcome, Brian. And I proudly take the "blame" for starting this thread! It's changed my life too. It has been wonderful getting to know so many people from all over the world and making so many new friends....all thanks to YOU, Mr. Ray! Happy BRT Day, everyone! Yep, Dawn....I love y'all....ALL y'all!
Dawn:
I've just been watching last night's Kiev show on the Ukrainian t.v site , it's still being shown in their archive ... http://www.intv-inter.net/tv/programm/?id=7212724&act=tvp&channel=6 I'm not sure how long it will still be playing on this site though ? The crowd looked huge !!!!!!! not sure how many were there , but over 350,000 i'm guessing ? Shame it was raining , but Paul , Brian and all the guys looked like they were having such a great time ! AND they played Mrs Vandebilt !!! I would have loved to have heard that one live . All My Loving was played too ........ love that one and I'll Follow the Sun .... yeyyyyy !
Thanks, Dawn! Looks like so much fun!
Such sad news! Thanks for sharing it with us, Corinne. I know you will miss your friend terribly. We'll all miss Martha's writings and input into our lives. May God be with you and her family.
Dawn:
Happy Mother's day Ronna ,... and everyone in the U.S. I know your boys are far away , but i'm sure they're with you in spirit today Not long too long now until the Liverpool show !!!
Ahhhhhh........thanks, Dawn! Yes, my boys are far away, but one of them did send me roses to work! (Thoughtful daughters-in-law are so nice to have! LOL) I hope all of you who are going to Liverpool have a FANTASTIC time!!! Have enough fun for me too!

I put Brians video on my blog!!!~
That's great, Harley! Hey, Everybody!!!! Be sure you post links to Brian's video on your blogs and go to youtube and post some great comments too!
Dawn:
Brian's latest blog .......... Tuesday, March 04, 2008 New video for you! Dear friends far and wide, I'm poppin' my head in to say hello and to announce that I have a BRAND NEW VIDEO for your viewing pleasure. Larry and Deb Graves, friends and fans from Canada, offered to make this for me, so I gave him live footage of my recent show in LA and we put our heads together, et voila! I hope you like it!
It has 1,100 views in 48 hours and it's been added to Will Ferrell's site, www.funnyordie.com along with many others.. Leave a comment if you wish! BTW, it is not for those of you who might think the country's leadership has done a brilliant job, hahahahaha! There will be other videos and perhaps a performance or two from that show in the following months so please stay tuned. In other news, it was a treat play on the Brit Awards [the British Grammys, but with an open bar] with Paul McCartney for his Outstanding Achievement award. Amy Winehouse did a great job and cleaned up as well. [Go, Amy!!! I'm pullin' for ya!] Also, as some of you know I'm writing and recording new material for my second CD due late this summer, so stay tuned, rockers! Hope you all got through the winter ok. Looks like spring out there, doesn't it? Love, Brian Ray
Be sure you all go to Will Ferrell's site and comment on Brian's video!!!

Oh, I was hoping you would give us some details on the Brit Awards!!!! Thanks, Dawn! Too bad that I can't get BBC America........... Maybe a good friend will record it for me???? (hint, hint......) Sounds like a great time for the guys as well as those of you who got to watch!

I hear we may soon see Paul and all the guys in the not-too-distant future!
The BRIT Awards are on Wednesday in the UK and Paul's getting an "Outstanding Contribution Award." The website says that he's going to be performing LIVE, so I imagine that Brian and the other guys will be with him! Wish they were showing it in the US...if last year was any indication, BBC America won't show it until April or so! I bet it'll show up on Youtube or somewhere on the internet on Thursday morning, though...
I wish they were showing it here too! I know for a fact that Brian, Rusty, and Abe are in London this week. Did you see this video that Brian posted a link to on the Macca Report?
Isn't that great?Dawn:
Hope you're all having a nice weekend . It's sunny here in the UK but VERY cold !!
It's nice and sunny here, but not nearly as warm as I'd like! Of course, you know me.....the warmer the better! Hi Amy! It's great to hear from you again! And, if you want to see Brian again, stay tuned. I hear we may soon see Paul and all the guys in the not-too-distant future! Keep your fingers crossed that it'll be somewhere nearby! Have a great week!
