This topic and this http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=77256 are interesting back to back reads.
As long as you brought it up, I think it's only fair that I offer my opinion of what getting on stage with Paul means to me. Being 9 years old when the Beatles came to America in '64, I can honestly say that I am a "lifelong" Beatles (but especially) Paul McCartney fan! I've been extremely fortunate to attend every one of his American Tours, and if that wasn't enough, am lucky to have a son who shares those interests. Over the years, my son and I attended as many McCartney shows in the U.S. that we were able to. To have Paul McCartney call us up on stage, not once but twice (!!), is in a word...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! It's hard for me to imagine that anyone that has as much interest in Paul to be on this board, would want to "play down" such an "amazing" moment in someones life. I'm sure their opinion would change drastically if they were given the same experience. On a related topic, I believe the "first" call up on stage were the "Triplets" in 2005. So thrilled that we were there in Philly to see it!!!
