Just dropping by to say I really miss the Jukebox feature on the site. I didn't actually realize how much I listened to it during the workday. Such a bummer that it's gone.

RE: Your "conversion playlist"
I love this thread. And I wish I had people who were interested in hearing more of Paul's solo work! At a quick glance, a lot of mine are repeats of ones listed... But here goes! 1. Oo You 2. This One 3. Wanderlust 4. Back Seat of my Car 5. Oh Woman, Oh Why 6. Mamunia 7. Riding to Vanity Fair 8. Jenny Wren 9. Sun is Shining 10. Your Way 11. Hi Hi HI 12. With a Little Luck 13. Venus & Mars/Rockshow 14. Every Night Bonus Track (it's my list and I can have a bonus track if I want it) : Maybe I'm Amazed (Wings Over America version)

I thought that was you two, I was sitting at a table watching you taking pictures of the Video of Paul at one point. I was just curious since I have never met you. Hope you had fun, I always do.
ops: ops: Yes - we had an absolute BLAST! It was my first soundcheck and I couldn't have loved it any more!

Bob G, Alvita, Sarah, Podge, Rick, and the rest (hope you're back in your house soon) had signs going all night. Paul was smiling, pointing, and laughing at you guys throughout most of the concert. I can't wait for Rick and Bob to post their pictures. Rick I sent you a PM
It was so great to see you again!! Wish we'd had the energy to hang out post show... but no such luck. Alvita and I basically collapsed when we got back to our room. Till next time!
I was wonderin'... ...granted I was already drained when Alvita and I had texted Saturday night.
So sad we didn't catch you Audi! We were going strong on Saturday night.. but, after a light 5 1/2 hour sleep on Saturday, soundcheck and the concert we were drained. Oh...and freezing! How did the temps drop like 30 degrees in one evening???
were you in the Hard Rock Saturday night?? You and another gal from the board?? I thought I saw you. Kelly
Yes - Alvita (aakiboh) and I were in St. Louis together. We were at a table with some other friends on the patio! You may also have seen us staring longingly at the televisions inside the Hard Rock watching the Ticket to Ride video... just depends on when you saw us...

You were right in front of us waiting to go in to sound check. I think you commented on our shirts. So now you know I'm a dowdy old lady.
No way! In the green and black t-shirts?? That's crazy! I think Alvita had gotten a shirt from your friend before. Anyway, I didn't know that was you - you should've said something. Always enjoy meeting fellow boardies. And don't be harsh on yourself - now you know I'm an overly excited, "I-might-pass-out" spaz. God knows what you may have overheard me say.

This was my 46th Paul concert. I'm home and still Paul zapped after a sleep that lasted from 7 PM until 9:30 AM. The man never ceases to amaze me. He is incredible. Yes, I cried during Let It Be. It's my song and it means so much to me. Paul means so much to me.
Glad you enjoyed the show! Sorry we didn't meet - you did soundcheck, too right? What did you think? The only time I cried the whole day was during "C Moon" at soundcheck. How strange... It was likely nothing to do with that song...just when it hit me that PAUL was singing... I've been properly ridiculed for that timing, though.

In my opinion, because of the price, you purchased just the tickets from a VIP package. The seller's name and sellers ID is what will get you into the soundcheck. Did the seller claim on stubhub that a sound check was included? If they did then you might have some recourse with Stubhub, if not they they were just selling tickets. Even if you don't get the soundcheck you are going to see a great concert from great seats!>>>> THANKS to all for your advice. I didn't realize the tix could be sold separately from the sound check. He didn't list sound check included nor would I expect it. I had been checking SH for days looking for closer seats and they just popped up - I grabbed them immediately. So hopefully I did just get very lucky, though I can't imagine why someone would go to the soundcheck and not the concert. I have never been that close, with the 'FAN PRESALE' I could only get floor wayyy back. Susan
It's highly unlikely that the seller is going to the soundcheck. They probably just bought the tickets, can't use them and now are selling what they can (i.e., the concert ticket portion). Hope it works out for you!

Thanks everybody! Been on the phone quite a bit! I have plane and hotel reservations, and I had tickets... One way or the other I'll be there!
Had tickets? What happened?
I had no luck with the pre sale. So I had to buy tickets from a well know ticket broker site. The tickets were emailed to me and then 10 days later I received a call from a rep from the ticket broker co. and I was told that the tickets were no good. We have been going back and forth since then and so far there is no agreeable resolution.
WHAT?????????????????? Oh man...you've got to be kidding me... :
Worst nightmare.... good luck and keep us posted! Would love to see you again!

To be perfectly honest - I love the idea of meeting up with everyone after the show. But...I also know me... and I will drain every single ounce of energy at that concert. And (normally) I just want to go lay somewhere quiet and try to make sense of how awesome of a Paul show I just witnessed... However - I'm going to keep track of where everyone plans to meet and if I can make it I definitely will!
This is usually what I want to do also--just remember it all with what little energy I have remaining in me.
Exactly! Plus with the addition of soundcheck... I may not even be able to function!

I got the same email and then I went onto the Doubletree site and rebooked my reservation. Even though the email said our reservation would be transferred I wanted to see what was available on Hilton/Doubletree website.I found it interesting there were plenty of rooms available for Nov 11.. and I got a better value, they offered many more options than the Marriott, many price levels, room types and specials.
Thanks to you for this information, I went to the Doubletree site and we are now staying there.
You are the Queen of hotel reservations! You've had so many! And.....perhaps I'm just jealous that we're staying in the scary Millennium! haha

Rossco Webster:
Nowadays the touring fad is for the band to play one of its classic albums in its entirety. To name a few? Styx, Steely Dan, Motley Crue, and The Who have jumped on this bandwagon. If Paul McCartney were to perform one of his albums in its entirety, which one would you vote for? (this can include Beatles or Wings, not just solo) I'd have to vote for Hard Days Night. I know it's John heavy but he could pull it off. SO MANY catchy good tunes on that album.
Oh, God! Impossible! If I had to pick...I'd choose one of these (probably in this order...but the last 2 could swap if you ask me tomorrow)... 1. Flaming Pie 2. FITD 3. Ram ..... It doesn't matter which you pick - you miss some of his most amazing songs.
