RE: Small Gig Speculation Thread
Bob, it seems that the crowd was very muted during the show. Is that just the video or was the energy kinda meh in person?

RE: THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018
cannot believe he's announcing shows this far in advance.
insane!!!!

RE: Small Gig Speculation Thread
Can we keep this thread from devolving into ANOTHER setlist thread please.....

RE: Paul at Abbey Road Studios today 23rd July 2018
I think we will see a different setlist for the actual tour. These are just secret warm up shows. He will play different songs for sure come the fall. I doubt he’ll keep Hard Days Night as the opener and other songs will change. Honestly.

So.... is it just London or will we maybe get "Under The Staircase" in other cities as well....

RE: THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018
at this rate, while i'd still go see paul if he played an arena/stadium near me again, i would really truly get excited about seeing him live again if he did a solo acoustic performance, ala neil young or bruce springsteen.
don't think it'd ever happen at this rate. but a solo acoustic show/tour from paul would've been amazing.

RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED
There were 9 songs played at MSG that I didn't hear at MetLife. Both shows were on the same tour. Not bad. They felt like completely different shows.

RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED
These past few NY/NJ shows have been nothing but magical. I will be honest here. The first time I saw Paul was at Yankee Stadium in 2011. It was a magical evening. Then, I saw him at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in 2013. It was solid, but not as good as Yankee. I saw him in Albany after that, another very good show, but still doesn't compare to Yankee. Then, last year, I saw him at MetLife. It was honestly too big for him. I felt a huge disconnect and was very underwhelmed by the show. Fast forward to Friday night at MSG. I could feel it from the beginning. Paul was on the ball. The crowd really fed off him. It was a huge event. I kept thinking, "he is on fire!" It was sensational. Of course, Bruce Springsteen, my other favorite, just sealed the deal. But still. Paul was incredible on Friday night. It was the same kind of magic that was in the air at Yankee Stadium six years ago. I hope Paul keeps going for a long time, but I'm also a realist. I'd be more than happy with Friday being my last ride. If Paul wants to do more, I'm willing to do more. But I can see it in him as he drives in slowly, as he plays longer. There's a spirit in him that hasn't been there in a while. He's been really inspired these past few shows. And I'm blessed to have seen one of them. I hope everyone else enjoys them as much as I did. Thank you Paul.

RE: Newark, NJ/Prudential Center/Sept 11 & 12 - CONFIRMED
IMO Paul's band is fantastic... But no one will surpass E Street

RE: Sometimes she feels so sad
Shame. Bruce Springsteen had a man in a wheelchair front row center when I saw him at MSG last year- and that was a GA section, not seated.

RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED
Hey all. Just trying to figure out what time soundcheck is for MSG on the 15th so I can plan roughly what time Paul will arrive, so I can catch him drive in to MSG. Thanks. Can't wait!!!

-J Cole August 5th -Paul September 15th And the big news today BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN ON BROADWAY playing solo acoustic for 8 weeks..... im sure it'll be an easy ticket
This is still unconfirmed by Bruce's people but it is probably happening. Although I don't think anything was said specifically about him playing solo acoustic. Just that it will be him and not him + E Street. But betting for a $$$$ and tough ticket, yes.
I'm already sweating about getting tickets. I got tickets last year for the 300 seat event at the Apple Store, but something tells me this will be a whole different animal. I'd love to snag a ticket to just one show. That's all I need haha
