Anyone think this will be a hard ticket since there are three other shows?

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
Still, 45,000 tickets a year after playing 55,000 at MetLife will not go too fast methinks.

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
With Newark and Syracuse, how tough will MSG be ticket-wise you think?

I had heard : The former Beatle performs in Belo Horizonte, Mineir?o, on October 17, with a tour commemorating the 50th anniversary of the release of the 1967 album Sargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. The information was confirmed to the State of Minas Gerais on Wednesday, 19. Don't know if it is true or not...
Wow... i guess anniversary tours are really becoming the industry standard now

Feel free to confirm/deny these, but I could see him playing some combination of these US cities. Obviously, he wouldn't play both Charlotte and Raleigh or Providence and Hartford, but I think these are all reasonable guesses. All of them have an arena larger than the one in Sioux Falls. I doubt Austin will see an arena show from him, since San Antonio and Houston have been waiting longer, although I could see him playing ACL Fest as it's one of the few he hasn't done in the US. Syracuse could be swapped for Rochester... Denver (last 2010) Baltimore (last 1964) Lexington (last 1990) San Antonio (last arena show 1993) Houston (last 2012) Las Vegas (last 2011) Tampa (last 2005) Memphis (last 2013) Miami (last 2010) Omaha (last 2005) Syracuse (last 1993) Austin City Limits music fest (never before, last played Austin 2013) Charlotte (last 2010) Raleigh (last 2002) Indianapolis (last 2013) Hartford (last 2002) Providence (never before) Anaheim (last 2005) Tucson (last 1976) Albuquerque (never before, Las Cruces 1993)
I'd bet maybe MSG gets some love as he hasn't played there since 2005

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
Real question is, will these new dates be "one on one" or something else....?

Why in the hell would he play at MSG & Barclays on the same tour?...plus the Nassau rumor! It sounds to me like everybody is trying to make something out of nothing. Obviously all releases related to Paul are being staggered, so I suspect that once Sgt. Pepper stuff is out of the way at the end of May, we will hear about a new record and shortly after *hopefully* fall (maybe late summer?) dates in the US & South America...maybe back to England in December? I know there's nothing legitimate there but I just always liked the idea of him coming home for Christmas and doing that...don't know why it tapered off. And as far as Dylan or Elton playing Nassau...I don't follow Dylan, but he couldn't fill that place in 2017. Elton MIGHT but he's pretty well booked for the fall already.
Could also possibly be Neil Young or Bruce Springsteen who's booked for Nassau
Neil Young's "undisclosed illness" makes me think that is unlikely...Bruce is always a possibility, I wouldn't rule him out for a minute.
Bruce is done for the year, except possibly playing Desert Trip II

Just noticed someone mentioning a rumor of MSG and Brooklyn in September. Has it been discussed here?
Saw that on FOTR. Exciting!

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
I could see maybe one show in NYC, MSG perhaps? One night? Hartford looooong overdue. Been 15 years. If Springsteen can fill it up every other year, so can Paul. Quebec has their brand new arena. I know Paul loves the new venues. Likely: Montreal, Quebec City, Hartford, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Las Vegas, Denver Possibly: New York City, Orlando, Biloxi (he loves those rando rinky-dink cities), San Antonio, Oklahoma City, San Jose Probably Not: Los Angeles, New Jersey

Things are dead silent but it is still rather early for summer rumors. Only US rumor I've heard is Raleigh but have no idea whether it has any merit. Totally unknown source and over a month ago, I tend to doubt it. I here a possible addition on 4/25 and maybe 1 more added in that area
O I'd be there w/ bells on...will absolutely not miss it again, anywhere even somewhat near this general region
I wouldn't get too excited, did not come from a known or credible source and in my experience was way earlier then when these things generally come out
Not to get political on here but I'd also tend to doubt NC shows until that bathroom law is repealed...

So anyone hear anything about 2017? Beyond Japan? Where would he even play in the US this year?

RE: Paul, Come To Australia
Bruce did it right. 2013 did mainly arenas and a few big shows, built a nice relationship back up with the fans there. Was a smash, returned in 2014 and was a huuuuge hit. Envious of all those seeing him this year. He is utterly fantastic. The best live act out there. Paul a close second Hope Paul can invest in his Aussie fans. It is strange that he hasn't been back in nearly a quarter of a century. It's really weird.

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
MSG would be nice. Please Paul, it's been 12 years

RE: Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors
If I was him, I'd take a break for a while, release the new album in the fall and play Australia then, like November... let the voice rest and come back strong, drum up promo in AUS.... Springsteen did that in 2013; played all arenas after 10 year absence, drummed up promo and demand and came back the next year in stadiums and parks.
