RE: Pre-sale thread: Miami / Tampa / Duluth / Syracuse
For those of you who got tickets today, first of all congratulations! I was looking at some of the ticketmaster pages and I'm not seeing any seat numbers offered on the screen, only section and row. Do you really have to buy tickets now, not knowing what the seat numbers are? This can make a HUGE difference! EDIT: OK, nevermind. I see if you click on "buy" you will be shown the seat numbers. But not an improvement in TM software in my opinion. Another screen to get to before throwing back tickets!

Wonder if MSG will get a second Night on Sunday the 17th
Really, who knows? But it looks to me like he's spacing the shows at least 4 days apart in most cases. Maybe this is to rest his voice??

ScrambledTofuLegs:
Had a weird, disconnected feeling the whole night for some reason. Paid 2086$ for the front row and was seated slightly off to the left, Paul didn't look to our side once. He did, during USSR nod to a couple next to me who were very nice, which was cool. It seemed like he mostly sang to a group of teenage girls in the front middle rows. I hoped for just slightly more for so much money, I had a huge sign and was so excited after waiting forever for this. Much different than my experience in Fresno. Also seemed like the Golden 1 wasn't prepared for how many of us there were for the VIP, because I couldn't find a place to sit when they served the food. Security wouldn't let us leave the room and walk around, and I felt pretty cooped up and bored in between the soundcheck and the concert. It's hard having to go to these things alone, but for 2,000+$, It's all I or anyone around me can afford.
Not sure which soundcheck you went to but on Tuesday I had a complete different experience. I also went alone, but started chatting with people while we were in line. Sat with a group for cocktails until it was time to go into the arena. After SC there was a line for the food and I did notice many of the seats were occupied. So I had a glass of wine and started chatting with some new people. Then went through the buffet and by that time there were tables open to sit and eat. We were allowed to go back and forth between the VIP area and the main floor. Could even take our drinks! Sorry your experience was not so good but mine was great!

3 more days for me. I get to read about all your experiences Tuesday before I go Wednesday. Luckily no weather issues traveling for me...only 2 1/2 hours southwest of Sack-0-tomatoes. My BIGGEST fear is being in front of grumpy people since I am in the stands this time and they'll holler at me for standing/dancing. Happy trails everyone!
So I know nothing about the new arena, except that it was built for pro basketball. When I saw Paul at Barclay's in Brooklyn (also NBA) there was a section that was typically VIP for basketball but a free for all any other time. It was mid level, all the way to the back. Nice center views and standing ONLY. I had a cheap ticket and thoroughly enjoyed myself -- there was no one who could tell me to sit down Small possibility but check it out, could be something similar at golden1!

Is there a planned get together in before either show?
Not sure! Only able to go to the show on the 4th, but we are driving in early since the traffic is horrible every week day around here now, then plan to do limo watch (have never done that before!) if we can figure out where Paul will be coming in.
You'll figure it out and you'll love it!!!!!!

RE: Indio, CA - Desert Trip Festival - Oct. 7-9+14-16 - ARCHIVE
My guess is that it has to do with the extra rising piece of the stage. It's probably a specific height and the main stage has to be raised to the usual height of Paul's stage in order for both stage pieces to be flat at the start. I really don't know anything, and it may not make sense to everyone, but it's only my opinion

Sorry, but I don't get it. The link is for the King's seating chart and doesn't include floor concert seating...
