Just received the book and have been reading a few chapters at a time. So skipped ahead to see John walking on water! Really enjoying the book!
@jimmix
Most definitely before the Yoko days!
@njr
So the I wish there was a a larger photo of this one so I could get it printed out. It’s so Pink and fabulous. I would frame it and have a nice spot for it!
Rosalita Come out Tonight ~ Bruuuuce
He seems to love singing this song!
@njr
That’s too bad, I was imagining they would have sounded good together.

@love2travel Why did you quote that?
I liked all the songs listed

The more I thought about the whole idea of a "Leftovers and Rarities/ Flip Sides and Deep Cuts" Compilation, I think Paul easily has enough good songs for a Deluxe Package (3 CDs) of this proposed project. Keeping to about the same # of tracks (22), here is my recommended Disc 3:
- Mama's Little Girl - B-Side to "Put It There"
- Once Upon a Long Ago - Single in Great Britain but pretty "Unknown" in the US
- Keep Coming Back to Love - B-Side to one of the "Off The Ground" Singles
- Kicked Around No More - B-Side to one of the "Off the Ground" Singles
- Try Not to Cry - one of Paul's own songs on the "Run Devil Run" Album ( Choose the best "Live" Version)
- What It Is" - Another one of Paul's Originals on "Run Devil Run" (Pick the Best "Live" Version)
- Run Devil Run - Title Cut from "Run Devil Run" (Pick the best "Live" Version
- Lonesome Town - Great Ricky Nelson Cover from Run Devil Run. Paul makes this cover his own in my opinion (Pick the best "Live" version
- Brown Eyed Handsome Man - Great Chuck Berry Cover ( Pick the Best "Live" Version
- Shake A Hand - Great cover of a Little Richard original. Paul's "Live at the Cavern Club" vocal is fantastic in my opinion.
- Celebration - This beautiful Instrumental was done ""Live" on the "Secret Internet Concert" circa 2002. Could be Disc 3 Track Opener
- Magic - Great Deep Cut on "Driving Rain"
- Sun Is Shining - Great Deep Cut on "Electric Arguments. Recently appeared on the "A Man Called Otto" Movie
- Dance Till We're High - Another Great Deep Cut on Electric Arguments
- Demon"s Dance - From the Deluxe/Collector's Edition of the "New " Album/CD
- Two Magpies - Great Deep Cut on Electric Arguments
17, Get Started - From the "Traveler's Edition" of Egypt Station. Best Version in my opinion- I Can Bet - Great Deep Cut from the "New" Album/CD
- Dominoes - Great Deep Cut on Egypt Station
- 60 Second Street- From the Travelers Edition of Egypt Station
- Off the Ground - Title Cut on the Off the Ground Album/ CD. Use the "Up Close Concert Version
- About You - Great Deep Cut on "Driving Rain"
Really a great lineup that I would love to see.
Was India released on anything?

@toris Hear, hear, mate!
Looking forward to hearing it! I wonder if Paul has any undeveloped songs partially finished?

They both had such sweet voices. Did Paul and Mary ever harmonize together?

Hi,
How are you?
Hi littlewillow,
I’m doing well thanks
Just catching up on life after Covid and back to traveling and concert going! Happy Springtime

Spring has already sprung where I live!
Do you know…Is it possible to purchase a larger photo of this? I’ve always really enjoyed this one!
There’s another similar one, I think it was for sale at one time. It had signatures of all the Beatles and in the ad, Paul is holding the poster.

SUMMERTIME
Hide and seek with moonbeams
In the summertime...
Secret silent moonlight
Hair blowing in the breeze
Riding in the darkness
Lit by stars above
Camouflaged in darkness
Soaring with the bugs
Dancing in the moonlight
On the sand, so fine...
Crashing of the oceans waves
Flying like a dove
Oh such a delight
That no one else can see
Glorious to be here right now
Happy to be me
Hi Love2travel,
I haven't seen you for a long time. How are you doing?
Very nice poem.Thanks Little Willow, have been dealing with some minor medical issues and there have also been some other things with family etc. I missed being here and catching up on the latest with Paul and the Beatles. I’m still working on some things like renovations, however, will be around after I get caught up. I have some friends who are filling me in on musical things and I have a Steely Dan concert booked with friends. It seems like everyone I know is coming out of Covid hibernation all at once!
I am happy for you. It's nice to hear from you. I hope you will come back soon.

Françoise Gilot, Whose Art Transcended Her Relationship With Picasso, Dies at 101
Sorry to hear about Françoise Gilot. Her book about living with Picasso, Life with Picasso, as well as the Paintings of her by Picasso were quite interesting. She also had 2 children with Picasso, Claude and Paloma. Françoise was also a painter in her own right. She continued on as a painter after leaving Picasso.
Some of her paintings and a decent biography

@njr Yes, I use it every year & have had no problems.
That’s good! It’s usually not cold enough in Atlanta to worry about the outside spigots. This was the longest period of below freezing (mostly at night) that I can ever recall us having for 6 days/nights, and I’ve lived here near Atlanta since 1973!
High of 57° today and cloudy! Glad we’re out of the deep freeze here. Followed by rain and fog yesterday. It’s going down to 41°

Are they vinyl singles? If so... useless!.... A great concept, if one can buy on affordable means... this being said, most of us have all these songs already... and I'd rather listen to them one after another... in a readily available format.... One after the other.... I ain't turning anything over.... surely, this isn't a compilation that requires me to flip over a multitude of records on a turn table to listen to?... surely, I am mistaken.
Yes, all vinyl singles. Vinyl is all the rage now! I agree - prefer CDs.
Wish I had purchased this, it went really fast!
@njr HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 🥳 to all the Maccaboard people. Love your picture Nancy! Skipped the New Years Eve crowds however hope to get there this week! Hope the Christmas lights are up for photos.
