Just one more addition to the Chris Rock/Will Smith fight at the Oscar's last night. I give Will Smith a lot of credit. When he won an Award last night after he lost his cool with Chris Rock which happened earlier in the night, I think Will Smith deserves a lot of credit for apologizing to the Academy and to the other Oscar nominees for his outburst.
I was praying for Paul to win.
I also give Will Smith a lot of credit for his apology.
Aparently this is not the first time Chris Rock has swung a verbal punch in Will Smith's direction. It reminded me of Donald Trump and all the times he has flung nasty comments to men about their wives and then his, my wife is a "10. In my opinion, it's so tasteless and crass, especially considering that Jada has suffered from Alopecia for years which leaves bald spots on your head, as big clumps of hair can just fall out. Just a mean spirited jab at Will, using his hair compromised wife as a target. In my opinion, any comedian who has to use someone with a handicap or a woman or child to get a laugh, is really low. Will Smith on the other hand, was standing up for his wife's honor. Did you see Jada's face when Chris first said it? She was visibly startled. Sad that so many can't even understand that men should be defending their wives honor, in this instance. What happened, is Chivalry dead in this country or are women expected to get up and slap the dude who insults them themselves?
So let me get this straight. The man who lets his wife have sex with other men needs to defend her honor in regards to a joke - lol. I love how people assume that everyone is aware of Jada Pinkett-Smith's medical conditions, she and Will need to get over themselves. Did you notice that Will laughed at the joke ? Only when he saw her reaction did he get upset. Maybe her reaction was due to her husband laughing at the joke. Finally, you do not resort to violence over a joke no matter how tasteless. As I said before, the adult reaction would have been to maybe frown at the joke and then after the ceremony have you agent craft a statement saying you did not appreciate the joke especially due to her medical condition. BTW - the original "GI Jane" was Demi Moore who was quite an attractive woman so being compared to her is not too bad IMO -lol.
From what I've read that Will said, "the goal is not a sexual goal. It’s spiritual. We are going to love each other no matter what."
When it's at a spiritual level like that, many people are just not going to understand it.
Will to Oprah on his relationship
As far as Chris Rock and Will's issues, there has been another joke involving Jada in the past. In addition, there was a third issue with Will's first wife too. This is a pattern on Chris Rocks part. He seems to have issues with Will's wifes and their spiritual relationships with Will.
Chris has joked previously about Jada and Will’s 1st wife too
