I don't know if I will ever do a sound check, but this sounds FANTASTIC to me as a vegetarian. More artichoke hearts please! In this example, it seems like I would get my monies worth.

RE: Rock Show Etiquette?
I've been to two shows and the 2013 free secret show in London. This 15 minute appearance was the only time I could say I was in the 3rd row, but the audience was more like a mosh pit as there were no seats. I had two tall kids in front of me who drank about 3 beers each waiting for this show to start. Big deal. But, it was mid-day and they were just being slightly annoying and a pile of cans started to form around them. There were several people behind me who were just having loud conversations, but those things are always expected, including the pushing, but Bevis and Butthead(see above) looked ready to ruin the entire experience. In the end, the two people in front of me left after the first few minutes, so I took their spot. Sometime its best to ride these situations out or ignore them. Once Paul is on stage, the music(and the man) take over.

RE: The archive remasters series is becoming a joke.
Kathryn O:
Okay, I'm glad they are finally coming out but having said that, I have a gripe: having two simultaneously is expensive when buying deluxe sets. I know it worked for McCartney and McCartney II but it is still pretty costly for those of us living in the bottom 14% who still work hard every day. dammit, Paul. Now I have to choose and pray I don't have any monetary emergencies in the next few months. What will happen is I'll buy one and my boyfriend will buy one and we'll each make copies to give to the other costing Paul money in the long run.
I agree completely, as each set is £79, for me it's a grocery bill. Not saying it wouldn't be nice to have these jam packed sets, but as it can boil down to money, some will have to be choosy.

RE: European tour dates on Paul's new t-shirts?
zoenel:
Thankyou for checking , we in England are devaststed by this news. about the 5th beatles discery of the Uk / Eurpoean december tour not been true. we were excited, thinking we might at last get to see Paul over here now we re so down that ,we are so distraut, that we have nearly given up seeing seeing Paul again, kind regards Zoe
Zoe, I don't share the opinion that England is devastated that a tour hasn't been announced. He did a bunch of promotion in London for the new album(including BBC tapings and a mini free concert in Covenant Garden). He didn't do a signing in any of the recent places he has toured(but did one in London). I'm not in the least bit bothered about his touring schedule as he will eventually get back to the UK. Everyone feels differently in this situation but the facts point towards a returning in due time to the UK.

My guess is after he finishes the U.S portion of Out There shows, he will round back to Europe and U.K. for more shows either late this year or early next.
How many more months until this might be clear? I wonder if this can be announced before the fall. Culture Club is playing the O2 in December and I would think other major act dates around that time are going to have to confirm. *goes to check O2 calendar for open days...*

RE: AHDN: Theatrical and DVD/BLU-RAY Re-Release Summer 2014
What's the difference between 4K and 2K digital restoration? I watched the 4K but would it have really been a huge difference from the 2K version? How could I have even known the difference

RE: European tour dates on Paul's new t-shirts?
Well, if it does materialise, I think we can all agree that those t-shirt tip offs were the best tour leak we've had recently. I'm already thinking where I'd like to go, but I'd never book hotels without official confirmation.

RE: New contest to win tix to any of Paul's North American shows
I'm a bit confused by some of the terms and conditions. I think if you enter for free, a guest cannot come with you. Also, it's more money for an initial entry and you can donate £1,000. Couldn't you just buy a great ticket to the show with £1,000?

RE: AHDN: Theatrical and DVD/BLU-RAY Re-Release Summer 2014
I'm seeing the film in the movies this week right after work. I cannot wait. I didn't want to rush home so I switched shifts for the next day so I don't have to wake up early. Maybe I'll consider taking a day off when I get my copy of the Blu-ray in the mail sometime after that!

Has anyone spotted the robot anywhere?
Newman, right? Seems like that fellow will either make a spectacular return or we will never hear from him again. I don't think there can be a middle ground at this point.

RE: BLACKFISH
I finally got to watch this on DVD this week. I agree that Killer Whales should not be forced to constantly perform shows and it's clear that they(Seaworld) are covering up many of the past accidents/incidents they had between the Trainers and the Whales. However, it does feel a bit bias as Seaworld has stated, in my opinion, because they don't seek out too many sources to support Seaworld(even if SeaWorld declined to participate) or the benefits(if any) of Whales in captivity.

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Forgive me if this has already been discussed. What could happen with extending this tour now with rescheduled dates in October. For example, thoughts on a UK, European, Australian, etc etc leg of this tour in 2015?

RE: AHDN: Theatrical and DVD/BLU-RAY Re-Release Summer 2014
The UK cover that changed from multi-color to black and white, still looks a bit funny looking to me. Thankfully, that can be overlooked, but the USA design was nicer. I'm seeing the film next month at the movies but I will have to buy the Blu-ray ASAP

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
How popular will Newman be in 2 1/2 weeks time to be seen in during the start of the USA shows? Is it best to include him in the live shows coming up or just save us until Japan again... I'm really tired today, forgive me. I'm just thinking that the PR for Newman will have to be relaunched(or rebooted) but how quickly?

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
I have to agree completely with RamblinRed, beatlesfanrandy, and femaleanimal. The points about preventing discussion of health related matters are spot on. Though I agree fans get concerned about hearing celebrities are unwell, it can get way too tabloid for it to be discussed here on his official message board. Nothing wrong with wishing Paul to get better soon in general. If people want to dive deep into those personal medical topics I'm sure loads of other social media can be accommodating. Now back to rumours about the tour, 'cause honestly I just wanna know the difference between "postponed" and "cancelled"... (postponed makes more sense!)

These few days have snowballed into a lot of speculation. I can't believe(rather I can) that The Chicago Tribune is leading their story with "Ailing" and mentions his health as "Worsening." I think the official press statements are the best to be taken as the facts. But, I think newspapers like the Tribune are just going to cause a bit of unnecessary worry for many fans.
I think the LACK of info is what makes people speculate.
I don't think the info is lacking at all. The statements have been clear as to why the weekend shows had been cancelled, why the rest of Japan shows had to be cancelled, and how Paul has felt about having to not perform in these shows. Discussing about the tour changes itself seems more to the point along with the well wishes we're all sending for a quick recovery.

Everyone gets sick once in awhile. It just happened to be now for Paul, right before some pretty big gigs. I know sometimes he seems superhuman, but he's a regular guy. Send out positive thoughts to him, he'll be good as new before you know it!
EXACTLY! All this long term analysis about what his touring is going to be reduced to, due to his health statements is without merit. I agree that dates could get postponed and possibly rescheduled as any performer touring would have. I would be surprised if the South Korea show doesn't goes ahead yet I see why it would make sense to reschedule both countries for the same time.

Well... no show in Japan on the 17th. Tonight's show will take place on Monday, the 19th. http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/tokyo-national-stadium-17th-may-rescheduled
Not good news. Hope he's better for the next show. And let's hope that Newman the Robot doesn't also get a virus!
good one I wonder how this will affect the rest of the Japan dates and South Korea, if the 18th concert is cancelled as well. I'm only speculating as I would hope he's well for the show scheduled.
