Def Leppard - Anything that I've heard hasn't blown my hair back.

The only albums that I like by Def Leppard are ON THROUGH THE NIGHT, HIGH N' DRY, PYROMANIA and HYSTERIA! All of these albums were the only early complete studio albums which featured the late Steve Clark! Believe it or not Rockerdude, PYROMANIA was the first album of its kind that introduced the very first POP METAL songs ever. PYROMANIA also introduced the very first POP METAL RAP song ever, it would be "Rock Of Ages."

Very nice story about the woman who called as many of the girls as possible together and then posted on Facebook for their parents to find them. Also, the Muslim taxi driver who gave free rides home to anyone who needed them.

I was born in a suburb just to the west of Cleveland and lived there until I was 10. I'm happy for the City and the fans, even though I'm not a Lebron fan. You can't deny his leadership in overcoming those odds; I just don't really like the guy.

Before he sings that song, he gets into a bit of a story. He describes the many different ways that songs can come along. He explains that this song started with a simple riff he created and then he plays the riff and then goes into the song. Was magic in Vancouver!

Am I the only one who was reminded of "Honey Don't"?

      No, you're not!

I meant to buy Zone 6, not higher. They must have added more Zones since I was last there in 2011. But buy these things ahead of time online, not when you get there! Much more convenient and you can use it right away.

I believe up to Zone 9 is the trains. Heathrow is in Zone 6 and for most of London you only need up to Zone 2 including the O2, excepting Wimbledon or Kew Gardens, which would be Zone 3. The good news is that they have extended the hours for the tube at nights, I recently heard. That's really good, because they used to close early 11-12 ish PM. You could get stranded far from your hotel, and wind up having to take a long cab ride I've also got caught with the trains on Sundays, with some stations closed, and having no one to help you figure out how to get the correct ticket from a machine, or figure out when the last train returns (could be earlier than you think) Have learned the hard way, to get them in advance and I'm pretty sure they don't sell them on the trains, like they do here. http://i.imgur.com/JPKI5ZA.gif Here's the map with the Zones and trains. I been going to visit, and have friends in various places, for the last 6 years at least 2-4 times a year. I'm just starting to drive, but you really don't need to at all. It's also very easy to take side trips to Paris by high spped train thru the Chunnel and short hops by plane, bus or ferry ( a few hours to Holland) everything is pretty close really, took a plane to Italy 1 1/2 hours, Portugal 2hours. All inexpensive, maybe around $100 RT if you shop around.

I was so hot for Tom Jones between 1969 and 1978 (I was 14-23) and I even got to kiss him twice (when I was 17 or 18 and on my 23rd birthday)

So you lost interest right after the second kiss? That doesn't say much for him.

To tell you the truth, he was a terrible kisser (sloppy & wet)

Just thought of a new catch phrase for The Patriots regarding Malcom Butler's interception. THE "BUTLER" DID IT!!!

Thats going to be the new motto for the Seahawks next season!

Looking back and recapping the game...I would say that the patriot's quarterback...was the luckiest quarterback on earth that day.

...during the shows? He almost always used to do his 'Wolfman' voice with his 'Oh Yeah' or 'Alright'....he still utters those words, but not in the same voice. While I'm talking about live on stage, an example of this voice would be on the Venus and Mars album, just before the start of Listen to What the Man Said

That's Paul !! on the record I always thought it was Wolfman Jack

I don't think we can automatically assume Brian would have maintained the same level of involvement with the group. Relying on heavy doses of pills to fall asleep over a long time could have altered his personality.

I don't like it at all. Paul sings awful in that concert. It means a lot because is his return to the stages, but... I don't know, he sings better in Back in the world than here.

      Bruce M.

The thing that's really striking about the reaction to Robin Williams' death is the huge outpourinng of people with personal stories of his kindness, generosity and selflessness. This wasn't just people saying generically nice things about someone recently deceased, this was evidence of a genuinely kind and generous person who apparently had no idea how much he was loved. Heartbreaking.

Found something (the power of google...LOL) "Williams, who plays lead and rhythm guitar, composes music that blends jazz, classical, pop and the Latin sounds of his heritage. After signing with Paul McCartney?s publishing company, MPL Communications, in 2003, he released his debut album, ?The Journey Within,? and saw it soar to No. 3 on Billboard?s Contemporary Jazz Chart. Williams collaborated with other artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Jon Secada and Dave Koz in 2009 for his second album, ?Moving Forward,? which came out on the Reform Records label. The above was courtesy of this article: http://www.longislandpress.com/2014/06/11/bernie-williams-blends-jazz-and-pop-in-life-beyond-baseball/

Very cool since I am a big fan of the Yankees and Bernie Williams.

People talk about hijacking, but what is the point of hijacking a plane and not telling anyone why you did it?

One of the theories being thrown about (although all is speculation at this point) is that the plane was stolen so that it could be used as a weapon later..."IF" that's the case, then I could see why nothing has been claimed by any would be terrorist or hijackers...my speculation is a hybrid of several theories - that it was hijacked, but probably crashed at sea and will be difficult to find...
