Carlos Santana's career was getting stale until he collaborated w/ some young talented musicians to make his "Supernatural" album which has a record number of grammy's. If Paul wants to keep his career to be progressive & get the younger fans listening to his music he was smart to collaborate w/ Kanye & Rihanna. After all it's the younger generation buying most of the music.

RE: Worst McCartney album?
Tough choice. I would have to say "Back to the Egg"

RE: The New World Tour of 1993
I really enjoyed seeing him during that tour. His band at the time & his current band are the best he's ever had.

A straight ahead rock n' roll set would be awesome w/ no ballads & everyone would be on their feet having a blast.
We're always on our feet having a blast! Well, I've never seen Paul outside South America though.
You folks in South America really love Rock n' Roll & pack your stadiums especially for Iron Maiden
I know, I was there at the Maiden concert at River Plate Stadium. And I've also attended the concert filmed for "AC/DC Live at River Plate"

I bet Paul's fans worry about all of this a lot more than he does. He probably just wants to play music.
And make lots of money

RE: Tokyo, Japan-Tokyo Dome-4/23, 25, & 27, 2015 - ARCHIVE
One show; two max in Tokyo would of been sufficient especially in a dome.

Really enjoying the remastered Venus & Mars & At the Speed of Sound

RE: Off the Ground
My first Macca concert was the "Off The Ground" tour & it was a great show that included Linda. The album has a soft spot in my heart

RE: Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
Although "they" say he has a virus I'm still a bit concerned after all he's not a young man anymore. What are "they" not telling us?

RE: Macca's Unplugged NOT in this list! R U effin' kidding me?
Tony Bennet who has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel has always sounded unplugged. Paul & Eric Clapton were great!

RE: Wedding Song?
Popper816:
Hi everyone! I am trying to figure out what song I want to walk down the aisle to at my wedding and was wondering if anyone here has suggestions. We have a solo guitar player who will be playing at our ceremony, so it has to be something he can learn on guitar. My top choice right now is Celebration from Standing Stone....we'd have other more recognizable songs for the rest of the ceremony, but I have always loved Celebration so much, especially as a melody on it's own, like when Paul plays it on the piano. My question is....do you think that would be too difficult or a bad choice for a solo guitar player? I never heard the melody on guitar, so I have no idea. I just wanted to get some of your thoughts because I know a lot of you are musicians....thank you!!
Our first dance was "My Love"

RE: Wings Over America & Rock Show DVD Reissue CONFIRMED
Erik in NJ:
I've picked up all of the Deluxe Editions of the various Macca albums that have been released so far except McCartney II--will probably pick this one up in the future. The RAM set is extremely well done, but the WOA limited edition is over the top in terms of the attention to deatil that went into it. It comes complete with reproduction concert tickets to a number of the venues placed in glasine envelopes mounted on pages in the binder, concert programs, backstage passes and several wonderful books on all aspects of the concert. It's an expensive set, but well worth the price! I also picked up the Blu-Ray Rockshow DVD which combined with the Deluxe set is a fairly comprehensive archive of the tour. Anyone else pick up the WOA Deluxe Edition?
I bought mine last year & it's very good. I don't normally buy CD's anymore. However I have been purchasing Paul's reissues. I haven't been disappointed w/ any of them.

RE: Why Does Paul Keep Touring?
He loves music & paying live. If you enjoy what your doing you'll never have to work another day in your life.

RE: "Off The Ground" re-release
I have the "Off the Ground Complete Works" so I don't need to spend money on something I already have.

RE: Petition: Paul, tour with an orchestra and choir
My rock n' roll concerts that I attend don't have choirs or orchestras & I like it that way. In my opinion Paul's line up of talented musicians are the best he's ever had.
