      Found the video!

Excellent clip. If the Beatles hadn't have happened, ELO would be my all time fave band. Incidentally, did I spot Paul's "Abe Aborial jnr" playing drums in that clip? Looked like him from where I'm sitting.

      Not Abe Laboriel Jr.

      His name is Donovan Hepburn.

I quite agree, but I guess not everyone is a Beatles fan️

      @wandy That is true. 😞

The same thing happened to Ringo's Tittenhurst Park Estate. He sold it to an Arab guy called, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he had no idea about Britain's Listed Buildings laws. These buildings are protected by law/government, and musnt be altered without permission from the authorities. The sultan changed a heck of a lot of stuff there. He got onto trouble with the local council, but it was too late, the damage had already been done. I have often wondered what would have happened if the Beatles had been allowed to keep their mural on the front of the Apple Boutique in Baker Street. I believe now it too would be protected by the government. Oh well🙁

You’re quite right (slick) Look at the mural that was painted on the Empress Pub by Ringo’s old Liverpool home. That wouldn’t have been tolerated in the ‘60s!

Agreed! Problem was ( imho) back in the 1960s, the London councils would have consisted of ( mostly) men who had fought in the second world war, and these "old" men now in their 40s, which would definitely seem old to the Beatles, did not risk their lives fighting in a war so long Haired hippy jumped up unimportant pop stars could paint their stupid ugly hideous drug induced paintings on the side of perfectly good buildings. Just saying like.

“I fought in the war for your kind!”
Ringo: “Bet you’re sorry you won. HehHeh.”

Let's leave the Kennel to Lassie. Paul.

@wandy Showing their music off perfectly is hardly messing with it.

      Totally agree! 👍

Hi I'm new here but by no means new to The Beatles.
I have a YouTube channel dedicated yo them. Check it out.
      https://youtube.com/@AndrewBrooks

I have made a 72 min film, on DVD, about the Beatles life and times in London, called The London Beatles Walk. It starts at MPL in Soho Square, and visits ( I won't go into every location, here) Trident Studios, The London Palladium, The Bag O' Nails Club, 3 Savile Row, The Indica Art Galley, and many more. Nancy will ( hopefully) have it soon, and hopefully pass it around the forum to anybody who's interested. Just saying, like. Would also like to add, I have made NO money WHATSOEVER from this DVD. I made it purely for fun!! In fact, its actually COST me money to make it.

Wandy, it’s Region 2 and I’m going to have to buy a Region-free DVD player to watch it. 99% of the people on here are from the U.S. which is Region 1 and I doubt if they have Region-free players, so I won’t be mailing it to anybody, sorry. And Lady Leslie has yet to send it to me anyway, even though she wrote me that she would. 😢

      OK.

It is almost year ago I took my wife to see Bon Jovi for her birthday and I forgot about taking this video. This is song called "American Reckoning" which is off the last album they made called "2020". Pretty good protest song although John Bon Jovi's voice has gone downhill. Note - around the 5:02 mark, the guy in front of me decided to stand up so for a few seconds screen is black. Rumor has it Richie Sambora may be back with the band, we will see.

His voice has gone downhill. It would be exciting to see Richie Sambora rejoin!
