I wish I could've seen The Who's Quadrophenia tour...had a few oppourtunities but, it just didn't work out : I also wish the Fleetwood Mac tour...was actually Fleetwood Mac I'm not seeing them without Christine McVie, and I don't think that will ever happen. I saw Stevie Nicks open for Rod Stewart last year and while she sounded JUST like the record, her performance was fairly boring.
Have to agree McVie was such a huge part of Fleetwood mac's sound that its a shame she wont do it anymore, but hey i can understand her reasons for not doing so even though she is missed massively.

I had a backstage/VIP pass Saturday night when I saw The Who in Louisville, Kentucky. One of my contacts that I made through my Jimmy McCulloch project works for the band and I was fortunate enough to have been able to meet Pete briefly and introduce myself. He's agreed to do an interview with me via email for my book!

Congrats and that is *way* cool!! Best of luck with the book as well. Some new shows coming up: Johnny Marr - May 3 The Breeders - "Last Splash" 20th anniversary tour - May 6 Beth Hart - May 16 Re that Fleetwood Mac discussion, I too swore I wouldn't see them again without Christine (and I know she's not coming back) but I confess I'm too much of a sucker for Lindsey's guitar playing. May sell my April tickets but I bet I won't.

I'd always heard but never realized what a great concert experience Waters gave until the 12.12.12 thing last year. As for Neil Young...give it time...one day, you'll get it.
