If the Memphis concert happens does anyone know what the venue might be?
FedEx Forum, where the basketball team plays.
Thanks! I already checked the milage and it's just as close to Tulsa as St. Louis was. I guess we aren't hearing any rumors about OKC or Tulsa? That would probably be too much to hope for.
Tulsa is on "the list," but so is Milwaukee and I plan to go for Memphis if nothing has been announced yet.
That leaves me with the same problem others have mentioned. Do I buy Memphis or wait and see if Tulsa pops up! There are worse problems to have!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since DC was announced, did I miss any announcements about a presale for it?
DC has not officially been announced, but the local radio stations have been dropping obvious clues along with Nationals Park. Baltimore radio station 100.7 posted on Facebook that the announcement will be tomorrow morning. I would assume that presale would follow after tomorrow.
Their website is a hoot! Scroll down....talk about waiting till tomorrow! HA! http://www.thebayonline.com/index.php

So would DC and Baltimore be two different shows? This is getting confusing and frustrating.

They mention Bob Gannon in that article, over 100 shows and counting! impressive!!
Very impressive indeed! I wonder whether he has ever been to any of Paul's concerts in South America?

Same show. Baltimore radio stations cover DC concerts. Just 1 show for DC and surrounding area I believe.
-
OK, thanks!
-
Gina's got it! Our arena in Baltimore sucks, and DC is a very short drive, so they cover their concerts on our radio. The concert is Friday, July 12th 2013....says it on the hundreds of little icons they have on the page.

I saw that - I guess they're a little excited.

Yeah, yeah, yeah!

I don't think they can get away with this "we're going to places we've never been to before" thing if this tour is going to be primarily America again. It's not a world tour at all. It's led us to believe it will be different, but it seems like it won't be really. Maybe they should realise that they should stop chasing the dollar and start thinking "Hmm. Paul is loved all over the world. Paul is also 70. He's not got many years of touring left. Maybe we should share him out fairly to his fans so they can see him while they still can."
They are all full of #@^# aren't they?

I've been out of town the past 2 days (at a Clapton concert.) Other than DC and Boston, can someone catch me up?
Austin is confirmed. Rumor about a Memphis show, supposed to be an announcement Monday.
Thanks. I heard some people talking last night about shows in Atlantic City and Hershey, PA and I wanted to see if there was any word of that on here.
WHAT?! No way can I see Paul playing in Hershey...he's done the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City before...I'd go if he does it again!
IF the rumor I heard was correct, I would guess a show or two at the stadium in the amusement park. Other than Disney Channel stars and the Dave Matthews Band, they occasionally get some big names like Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and The Rolling Stones. AC's Boardwalk Hall (where I saw the Who there in February) is a great venue to see a show at but promoters and the city are in talks to hold more events at Bader Field. Either could be a possibility, but I highly doubt either are true.

I agree with you guys. But I wonder if he even knows about some of this. He probably just goes where they tell him they booked him.

It would have to be two if not three...that stadium is on the smaller side. Last time I was at Hershey Park, Kenny G was playing in the stadium. Holding my breath for Atlantic City! If I could pull off DC, NYC, and AC...it would be a new record for me!

I'd imagine Paul knows next to nothing about anything they write for these tours. :

May 24th in Memphis would be sweet! That date is our 4th wedding anniversary!
veggieburgher:
Maybe Memphis on May 24? I might try to do that.
-
veggieburgher:
May 24 is an open date at FedEx Forum in Memphis per schedule for NBA playoffs should the Grizzlies make it that far. Home dates would be May 20, 22 and 29.
I've since seen some conflicting info on this, but it still looks like May 24 is available.

Hershey is itty-bitty compared to the others! My daughter went there a couple times for marching band competitions. I was up in the stands and could see her clearly on the field. I don't see him playing an amusement park arena. I'd be very surprised. Plus, it would basically be free for anyone hanging out in the parking lot after the park itself closed.

Surely he can't be that detached or dense.
