^ When We Was Fab would be...fab. For John he is already doing A Day In The Life/Give Peace A Chance.

[..] I feel it in my bones -- Paul's got some major surprises in store. I anticipate lots of Beatles, but he's gonna dig deep. And I have a feeling that his solo catalog is going to finally get some sun.
Same here, man, same here. Brutal that he's again not touring Europe properly, and I'm going to miss out on this round. By the time he will be back the biggest shockers will be replaced already.
Some of the best shockers do seem to have a short life-span, don't they? I'm thinking you guys will see Paul in the fall.
Yes, and by that time 'Love In Song' will already be replaced with 'Girls' School' . Frustrating.

It's very hard to call the shots on what specific songs will change or be added but, I think it's easy to gage how many will change. First off, note the quantity and closeness of dates...this worries me a bit considering his 38 song set clocks in at about three hours... Also, let's look at changes from "Up and Coming" to "On The Run" -Hello Goodbye OR Magical Mystery Tour -Junior's Farm -The Night Before -Maybe I'm Amazed -I Will -Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End So I think it's safe to say we'll at least get six songs that weren't played "On The Run". If you look at that list, "Junior's Farm" and "The Night Before" are the only ones that were genuinely brand new/never before played. Keep in mind, I'm only looking at the opening night sets at Yankee Stadium. "My Valentine" eventually trickled in...and there was "Come and Get it" "The Word/All You Need is Love" in Europe..."Hope of Deliverance" and "Things We said Today" in South America...

...which would be the first one in the most recent set in need for an eager swap.

I like 'When we was fab', Paul could always attempt 'Got my mind set on You', complete with the back flip! guess it would be different.
-
I have just put some pressure 0n Paul (via twitter) for a live performance of "Goodbye":
It is my belief that he will feel challenged enough to do it now. You folks can thank me later! -

Another good choice -- definitely! It's funny: I can't tell ya' enough how sick of that song I was back in high-school...it was HUGE! On the radio seemingly 'round the clock -- but, now, I'd love for Paul to rock that one in concert in honor of George. And, hey, it's been a few years since we'd last seen Paul dance -- in the "Ever Present Past" vid.

Speaking of "Ever Present Past", I would LOVE to see that song performed live... perhaps the biggest missed opportunity live in the past 6 years, IMO. That was my favorite song from MAF and it should have been the lead single... Dance Tonight is good but Ever Present Past is a GREAAAT song... classic Macca!!!

I think 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' would go down awesome. Ticket To Ride would replace Day Tripper quite nicely. Plus Paul came up with that iconic drum part.

Didn't know that.

I don't know about that one. I clearly recall the A&E special with Ringo where he was promoting Liverpool 8 with the roundheads and broke down a few beatles drum parts that he put together and that was one of them.

?That?s me, one of the earliest heavy-metal records. Paul?s contribution was the way Ringo played the drums.? John Lennon - Playboy interview, September 8-28, 1980.

Okay, well I'm just telling you what Ringo said...the man that played the part. : John had a very skewed concept on songwriting credits through his entire career anyway.

Lol, what's with the eye-rolling. Of course, McCartney and Lennon didn't even agreed themselves on how much they both contributed to the song, let alone on what Lennon said about the drum arrangement 15 years later. By any means, it would be one mean 'The World'-like addition to any set!

I don't want Paul to do "Ticket to Ride" he didn't sing the original and there's so many that he could be using his voice on instead.

I tend to agree... I prefer it when Paul sings his song, rather than John songs... the exceptions being "Please Please Me" and "I'll Get You" on The US Tour... I really enjoyed those, actually!!! I will say, however, that it would be pretty awesome if Ringo joined Paul on stage as a surprise guest at a show and they played Ticket to Ride, minus Abe. I get tired of the fact that every time Ringo plays live, he seems to think he needs to have a support drummer. When I saw him in AC back in '08, he didn't play one single solo beat...
