Funny about opinion, i think Everybody Out There wipes the floor with Save Us which rocks but is completely tuneless.

Tend to agree, Save Us is very average, hope the CD version is much better, Everybody Out There has a OTG B-side vibe to it...which is a good thing IMO as I rate OTG songs highly. However more worryingly for me is that having listened to 3 songs now there has been nothing thats blew me away yet, still i remember feeling the same way about OTG & Chaos at first & now i rate them very highly.

I think I like that Save Us feels like a Fireman tune to me. (which I like )

Apart from a couple of songs OTG is still poor, but you're correct some of the B sides were good especially Kicked Around No More which is a long lost classic. Like you i'm hoping the recordings of the songs add something that's missing from the strained live versions.

Great songs. The new album will be fantastic.

Everybody Out There is fantastic. Got me on first listen.

Think "Everybody out There" had the "Hope of Deliverance" vibe.... Love the bass pump beat of "Save Us", reminded me of "Saw Her Standing There"
-
"New" sounded awesome live, and I like "Save Us", but I'm really diggin' "Everybody Out There"!
-
Paul should open his upcoming concerts with "Everybody Out There". It's a great song, the tour is called "Out There" and he would be promoting the new album. Last time he did that was in 1989/90 with "Figure Of Eight"!

Agree about the "Everybody out There" & the "Hope of Deliverance" connection. The "Hey"'s was a complete turn-off for me however. Especially after he repeats it 4 times near the end of the song. It's like he's trying too hard to be catchy, but it's irritating to my ears anyway. "Save Us" is the better sounding song, imo.

I loved all the new songs, but this one is really sticking in my brain. Catchy as heck! Anyone able to decipher the lyrics to the second verse? Something like: I got a feeling there's a (___???) rhythm beating in me / when I'm close to you I've listened to that section a dozen times and I can't quite put it together.
-
yeh Sir Paul 'everybody out there'! lewwe keep on rockin' dem 12-strings dey ♪ ♪

Everybody Out There is going to catch on I reckon, it is a jubilant and uplifting song which has been the one that has stuck in my head unlike any Macca tune since I can remember, would love this as a single, it's a hit song to me.

IMO - think "Everybody Out There" was intended to be a concert song and the "Hey's" are intended to provoke audience participation.

I'm liking them all...but Save Us is sticking in my head....at the moment

Magical Mystery & Save Us

From RS magazine online edition below: McCartney?s set was a mixture of the old and new with the punk energy of "Save Us" and the anthemic sing-along "Everybody Out There" complementing a joyful "Lady Madonna" and the bombastic "Live And Let Die," the first song of the night to feature those fireworks.
