Dress Me Up As A Robber? Wow. Tom Hanks must be a real geeked-out fan!

It was amazing. Need i say more? Seeing him do Shakespeare and singing on stage minus guitar (2 songs with piano) was to die for (10 songs total). It was a once in a lifetime moment and I'm glad I was there.

Here's the list of songs that Paul sang at the Shakespeare event. Live and Let Die (at piano) - cast came on stage about halfway though All My Loving I Saw Her Standing There Dress Me Up As A Robber (partial) Here There Everywhere Yesterday (partial, cast sang the rest) Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (Shatner reciting, Paul back-up vocals) Good Day Sunshine Let It Be Sgt Pepper (started, then cast sang along) The End And I Love Her (was partially recited as in a letter, then sung by Erik McCormack/Martin Short) Paul had very few speaking lines, but he delivered them quite well. He looked like he was taking it all very seriously! The script had some jabs at The Beatles, Paul, etc. which were cute - at one point, I saw Rita lean over to him and tell him he was a good sport. That he is!

Bad editing job, but still fun to watch... Simply Shakespeare w/Sir Paul McCartney & cast singing "Let it Be" & "Sgt Pepper?s Lonely Hearts Club Band" http://player.vimeo.com/video/75526845

Yeah, I'd say (Lovely) Rita Wilson is quite a fan and quite besotted! From this clip, looks like this was Paul's show all the way. He's so revered by cast and audience alike - it's fun to see. I like how he made sure to pick up his script from the floor and take it with him as he was leaving the stage.

She sure is enamored with him. She seems to be with Paul rather than her own hubby.

Paul and Lovely Rita are gonna run off and "be together" and then Tom Hanks and Long Tall Sally Shevell are going to get together, like the former Shania Twain and now the Clint Eastwood romantic foursome switcheroo scandals. But at least sales of "New" will skyrocket

I love Paul's rich warm sort of husky Liddypudlian speaking voice, what a treat to hear him recite words of the immortal Bard. High culture from Paul (not THAT "hi hi hi" kind of high, LOL) which might compensate for Macca not playing Romeo in the sixties film classic "Romeo and Juliet" by Franco Zefferelli. Depriving us of seeing that. He probably didn't think it would be fun for him, at the time. The director had wanted Paul to be his Romeo. Or Juliet's, rather. I read somewhere that Olivia Hussey bragged that Paul wanted to marry her or go out with her or something (she was Franco's Juliet in that movie). But right after she boasted about that, he married Linda.
Olivia Hussey was 16 when that movie was filmed!! And Leonard Whiting (Romeo) turned 17 during the filming. I had always read that they specifically wanted R&J actors to be the age that the characters were in the story. Paul, at 25 when it was filmed, would have been a tad old. But this does say that he was asked to play the part. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_and_Juliet_%281968_movie%29
Jane was 17 when they met and dated. Yeah, I don't get it either. I'm not too fond of young girls myself. never got the attraction.

I can't say what I am thinking. Maybe something along the lines of Bob and Carole and Ted and Alice. (Couldn't resist. Sorry mods...and Paul) I'm just joking. (Maybe)
