"Living Room Tour" Q&A with Paul
-
chrisstevens:
So, did he ask any fan submitted questions as was promoted?
There were a grand total of two, as I recall, and one was discussed before it was even asked! It was about 35 minutes long, altogether.
-
Best parts of the interview were Paul talking about the "Nowhere Boy" film and its inaccuracies, and why he thinks vinyl is superior to CD. Best parts COULD have been where he started to play "Alligator" and "On My Way To Work" but Zane Lowe kept cutting him off!

Here it is:

This Zane Lowe sounds like a lousy interviewer! Still want to see it though--where, how? ETA: Thanks 5th Beatle!
-
You're welcome!

One of my questions was answered (sort of) it was retweeted by Bang and Olufsen, and put on their site as one of the ones they would be choosing from. @PaulMcCartney Do you get a nostalgic feeling for the way that music use to sound? #Mono #Stereo #Analog #Digital #Download They asked it a different form, but didn't say my name oh well, I guess...
-
I enjoyed it so thanks!

Well, it was a cool part anyway, maybe my favorite part of the interview, so thanks!

Around the 01:00 mark: Fans present from PaulMcCartney.com? Questions from PaulMcCartney.com? Oh, really?

They must have been warned to keep their yaps shut, since you don't even detect an audience till the very end.

Just watched this on youtube, pretty cool! I like that Paul gargled on the show! Funny! He said he will tour for this CD, so I am getting ready for dates!

2 questions? is that it? The way it was promoted was as if quite a few questions would be asked. Bit disappointed. Anyway, still looking forward to watching the interview in a bit.

My thought when I saw that (and I was watching it when it aired) was, "I thought PaulMcCartney.com deleted the fans". remember, some of us were the first 1000 suckers.

That guy never shut up long enough to let Paul finish ...Paul was so polite

The gargle was hilarious! I think he was getting tired of the interviewer's chatter and was getting bored . Despite the guy's nattering away, at least he kept on focus with New and didn't digress into the same old, same old.
-
haha loved the gargle!! Really enjoyed him talking about Nowhere Boy-that was my favourite topic of the whole interview, Paul had me laughing At some points, the interviewer made jokes/comments but they seemed to fall flat...kinda awkward. Overall, fun interview to watch.
-
well, that fake Steve Jobs never stop talking!

The interviewer was chatty, but I think he did alright. And you can see Paul kind of going, "Um, ok, let's see if I can get an answer in here." But Paul was very cool, and treated the guy with respect. It could have been a LOT worse. A confrontational interviewer who has no respect. Howard Stern can be very chatty and step on a guest's answer. That's ok, these folks are all pros!
