that's a beautiful picture, Nancy
Thinking of John a lot today, as I do every year. I love and miss him dearly (and I am just a fan); I can't imagine how his family and closest friends must feel like.
-
I like to think of John as being very happy with his life at the time of his passing, but am sad that happiness was cut so short. Am thinking of his widow and sons today, and Paul and Ringo, and everyone who loved him and was inspired by him.

Have been thinking of John this week.
So many great memories of John, have been have been flowing cross my mind like endless rain into a paper cup...
-
We miss you John. Wherever you are i hope you are resting in peace

Gorgeous huge picture of John, Nancy, thanks for that--it took my breath away...he was at his very cutest and most handsome then, at the time of that pic--but he didn't give a fudge about that and went on changing his "look" as time went on, and he always dressed real cool...such a sharp clever wit he had, such a gift of gab ! Such a distinctive singing voice; you always knew it was him. Immistakable. That genius Plastic Ono Band album will tear you apart ! Never heard such agonizing screams ! John retained so much pain, deep down, from his childhood. I think that's why he went wild with the LSD and various chemical pain remedies. Seeking to assuage that deep inner emotional pain. But he could be so happy and carefree and in touch with the little boy in him, playful and having fun. I don't really go by "the stars" except in a light recreational way, but he really did exhibit some classic attributes of the Libra sign. That's a right cool sign.

I just avoided thinking about the anniversary of John's death this year. 2020 has brought us enough pain and loss I just couldn't take revisiting a loss from 40 years ago that still hurts.
