Just expanding--I collected tons of Beatle records on Apple and any other rare memorabilia I could get back in the 70s and 80s. Guess I'm trying to catch up on the DVDs and books as there's tons of good stuff out there these days. I've been kind off into jazz for a number of years now and just getting back into the Beatles thanks to a buddy. I guess you never really stop being a Beatles fan. I'd originally written "I don't mess around--unless you insist we do during the the Beatles viewing party w/ your popcorn" But fearing you might not be a gal, I quickly erased it. oobu24 is a bit ambiguous

As Doc Holiday said in the great movie "Tombstone" -- I'm your huckleberry!

Yes, I am. And you do have quite a bit of catching up to do if you were gone for all those years. But you are correct...once a Beatles fan...

Too bad your wife is not a fan. That should have been a prerequisite, especially since she's English!

Hopefully we won't see him featured on next month's "Hoarders" show!

LOL Yeah, my wife likes to throw that exact line in my face from time to time. Once when Stanley was staying out my house he said "you got lots of stuff--but it's all cool stuff!" Funny thing is when I used to visit him in the NY area, with all the recording equipment, computers, guitars, etc. ... he had more "stuff" than I did. I like Macca's approach--multiple houses...great way for us "hoarders" to declutter...heck Paul's probably a hoarder too--still has most of his "vintage clothes" from the 60s he says

I think I would just make duplicates of all the cds & DVDs & have the same clutter at every house. You are soooo right on the vintage clothes for Paul...although maybe Nancy has made him toss a few items by now. Second thought...no she hasn't.

On eBay, there was a Record Collector magazine (Feb. 2013) with the Beatles on the cover for $10.99, but it said "make an offer" so I offered $7.99 and it was accepted! Funny thing, I went there looking for the Dec. 2013 issue with Wings on the cover!
