Assuming we get tickets...I'll be seeing Billy Joel a second time this year! Dad and I are planning to go to Nationals Park on July 26th...taking my grandmother to MSG on May 9th for her 70th Birthday and Billy's 65th.

Would like to see Hall and Oates once, but looks like they'll be missing the area again this year. So far it's just my NYC Billy Joel Birthday trip, probably adding the 2nd show in DC...I'm taking my father to see Ron White in April and I've got some theatre....but not much on the concert front yet! Rumors are starting to pickup for Ringo's All-Starr outing this summer so I'm sure I'll catch that in some form....considering the Motley Crue farewell tour if it's close enough, especially since ALICE COOPER is opening!...little backwards if ya ask me!

Finally caved in and booked The Eagles today

*slow clap* I can't bring myself to do it. I've passed up four of their concerts now because of ticket prices.

Hopefully expanding my concerts a bit after two great announcements today.... May 9th- Billy Joel- Madison Square Garden June 12th- Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band- Wolf Trap (Same lineup as 2012) July 26th- Billy Joel- Nationals Park Aug. 22nd- Motley Crue & Alice Cooper- Jiffylube Live No on-sale date for Ringo yet....but Joel goes on Saturday & Crue go on Friday...each have cheap seats for $40 so I'll go with them!
-
Didn't get our Crue seats yet....but we've been weighing the pros and cons of Nationals Park for Billy Joel and have decided against it. Just way too much bad involved in that stadium and the journey each way. Still got the birthday gig tho! May 9th- Billy Joel- MSG June 12th- Ringo Starr- Wolf Trap Aug. 22nd- Motley Crue/Alice Cooper- Jiffy Lube Live

^^ Thanks, I am really looking forward to seeing Elton's chandelier in his new stage design. Also I am excited as it is the 40th anniversary of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Just any reason to see Elton perform. I have not been able to do much the past few years, and I am making up for it you might say. Hope everyone enjoys their concerts as well. I will give an update when I get through travelling.

Seeing Sting and Paul Simon tonight!
-
Concert was wonderful last night! There were a lot of people wearing McCartney shirts last night. I thought that was odd since concert had nothing to do with that Paul.

Hey I'm going to see this on March 1st when they come to Toronto. My wife is a Police/Sting fan. I've been reading the reviews and all have been good so far. Glad you liked the show.

You'll both love it! They admitted themselves last night that this is still rather new and they are working out the kinks for the show, but you wouldn't have known last night. They did a great job of spotlighting both artists and when they did songs together their voices blended nicely. I hadn't seen Paul Simon before so this was a huge treat for me. Sting was top of his game as always!

Echo and the bunneymen in may and fingers crossed after last years cancellation Neil Young and crazy horse bought and booked for the summertime.

Another concert on the lookout for me....hoping to get tix next Friday, but we'll see....Rod Stewart & Santana @ Verizon Center in August! Another interesting opener for Sir Rod...I think I'll enjoy this much more than Stevie Nicks though.
