Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
-
Pretty sure New York won't based on the fact that he is playing Albany. Would be great if he did but i'm not holding my breath. Maybe a Christmas show....he was here just before Christmas last year so who knows.
-
I'm still in La-La Land, dreaming of a Newark, NJ show at the Rock. (Aerosmith is playing there in September. Maybe if Paul's buddy Steven talks to him any time soon, he'll recommend it?)

I'm with you there. I've travelled enough to see Paul, it's time for a home game!!! Come back to Jersey, if not here......my backyard!!!!!

I'm just hoping the 'PH' in Bob's clue meant Philly and the 'MET' part meant MetLife Stadium!

Since the regular sales start on Monday...I would assume more announcements on Tuesday or Wednesday???? Let's hope that this week makes the picture a little clearer

From your lips to MPL's ears!

One thing for sure Nancy...it may be clearer but I think we all know it won't be totally clear!!!We've got about 22%-23% picture right now

So if that's the math and four shows have been announced, then we can look forward to announcements of about 14 or 15 more No. America shows. Can't wait to see how it shakes out!
-
Easy Paul math, trend has been to do 6 to 7 shows a month and rumor is 3 months leaves us with 18-21 shows with 4 of them announced.
-
18-21 shows is a lot. I predict: Chicago Minneapolis Lubbock Los Angeles San Francisco Cleveland Detroit Denver Tucson Las Vegas St. Louis Houston Atlanta Miami Raleigh Washington DC Philadelphia Jacksonville Portland San Diego

Just to show that i feel for you guys with ticket stress (even though we don't seem to be getting any shows over here until it's bitterally cold in the winter!!) - i had a dream in the night, totally vivid, when i woke up i even came online to check i hadn't imagined the gigs were on sale! Paul had announced Liverpool and Birmingham, and i was booking liverpool in a panic off the paul site, and got row D which on the map showed as 4th row middle, we were so excited to have fab seats, but then later when we'd paid it turned out the map had been pasted with the stage at the wrong end and we had infact bought 4 rows from the back of the venue. My sister was so angry with me we never got round to trying birmingham!!!!! See, even when asleep and with no British shows, i dream about ticket hell!!!!! (In reality, if he could play Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, London i'd be happy! Hell i'd be happy with just one of those at the mo!!)

Haha I had a dream last night too!!! I had a dream that Paul announced more dates for all the rest of the summer shows and I couldn't get to my computer or have any access to buy tickets at all. I was screaming all panicking soo bad. It was actually a nightmare! Haha when I woke up I immediately checked my phone and all these sites to see if anything actually had happened.

I love your prediction. Especially the one at the very bottom. I feel very relaxed now since no west coast dates have yet to be announced but if they do announce San Diego ( where I saw him for the first time in Wings in 76) I will probably have heart failure. I am not getting my hopes up but it sure would be fabulous if he played my city. 38 years is such a very very very long time ago.

While I understand the business logic of Paul playing LA and expecting San Diego fans will just go an hour north to see the show, San Diego is on its own a large and great city. Paul should play there. He played Vancouver, a great city, even though it is pretty close to Seattle, another great and large city. One of the many challenges for Albuquerque is we are a middle size city (metro pop. abut 900,000) in the middle of nowhere, with vast empty distances between here and other major cities. So it is a challenge for a big, expensive show like McCartney or U2. But San Diego has about 3 million to draw from, as well as LA to the north and Tijuana, Mex. to the south.

San Diego and LA won't happen in the same tour. Same reason Milwaukee and Chicago don't happen in the same tour. They are less than a two hour drive from each other so it doesn't make sense logistically to move the tour that short of a distance when you can just play 2 nights in 1 city and have people from both cities attend. Since Bob knows all of the cities, maybe he can throw us a bone and tell us how many of your cities are correct.

Yes, it would be cool if Bob would do that for us.

You'd have to ask him

I don't know who Bob is, but I'm a skeptic that he has "inside info" and is then dropping hints as to where the shows are. One would think that an "insider" would be sworn to secrecy regarding the cities. I don't see NY or NJ on that list and I would be very suprised to see Paul doing a 2014 tour without either MSG or something being done across the river in NJ. Prove me wrong Bob whoever you are.
