Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors

Looking again now, and I'm thinking that 7/16 would be either Madison or Minneapolis, and then 8/2 would be something closer to the west coast (Missoula, Montana?). Why would he take two weeks off between Wisconsin and Minnesota, which are right next to each other? And my only shred of hope in the Philly area is if the C turns out to be Camden, NJ, where there's an amphitheater that's popular for summer shows. Just a shred!
Chicago will be 7/9 and 7/10 which pushes everything on the list down. So 8/2 and 8/5 are Minnepolis and Madison/Milwaukee. Then he heads west to Salt Lake and LA.

Are there even 20,000 people in North Dakota?
They'll come from South Dakota.
North Dakota jokes, huh? Norm (from "A Hard Day's Night"): Ooh! Chatter on, son, chatter on. A touch of the writer's cramp will soon sort you out.

I think a lot of folks are really too tied up in logistics. If you remember last year, there were really weird distances in short periods of time. I don't remeber if it was a tour video or some short of report where it was said that when he goes on tour that there are actually two sets of equipment with their own crews. They leap frog each other every other show. Which is why it's possible to do Atlanta while the crew in Jacksonville is setting up their stage. This leaves only worrying about a much smaller number of people to transport that have to be at every show. As he has shown in the past in these mini tours, you don't have to follow logical pattern. I would dare to say that i takes at least 6-8 hours to tear down a stage and another 6-8 or more to build it back up. That doesn't leave for any sleeping and having to be done by 330 pm the next day for sound check (especially on back to back days like Atlanta & Jacksonville). Think about it...would be virually impossible even following a more logical pattern

OK, well, that tells me that 8/12 or 8/14 could still be Philadelphia, so I won't give up hope yet. Or if one of the S's is Sunrise, Florida, that could also be arranged.

Philly and Sunrise are not going to happen this time unfortunately. Philly to Albany is less than a 4 hour drive....that seems very doable to me.

Excuse me guys, but does anyone knows if Paul is rumored to play on NYC someday between Jun 25th and July 5th?
-
I've got tickets to see him in Pittsburgh, but...is this another US tour with no stop Cleveland?! Just seems odd that he hasn't been there since 2002!

Hoping everyone is in a better mood today with 6 brand new announcements expalanation of first clues Lawrence & Ella- Buddy Holly's parents name 1st and 14th- first US show on the 14th 1891-Lubbock High School Established Black & Gold-Lubbuck HS Westerner's school colors Curtis & Davis- Sonny Curtis and Mac Davis also graduated Lubbock HS so if you guessed Lubbock you were right!! Appears that the foreign iconic venue might be wrong though since the US shows are being announced. Shaping up to be a fun summer. Hope all gets tickets to the shows they want!
Thanks for explaining Bob! I am so psyched about the Atlanta show!!
So I guess you'll be going?
But of course! I have my alarm set to wake up in time to get tix at 10 am! Are you guys going to any of the shows?

So is this the first time he's played Atlanta since 2002?
No, I missed the 2005 show at Philips Arena because I had twins in college then. But a friend who is a press photographer took a beautiful photo of him and had it blown up to about 14 x 20! After that, he played an outdoor concert in Aug. 2009 (90+ degrees out!) at Piedmont Park which was general admission! Forget it--I would have passed out! Audi went but he's younger & braver than I am!

I'm from Cleveland originally, and the Beatles skipped Cleveland in 1965 too! I was 11 in 1966 and begged my Mom to take me to Cleveland Stadium to see them! No luck! "We'll go next year" she says. Well we all know how that turned out!

Yeah, guess I'm just dreaming. I'm not the type to drive four hours to a concert, so I'll probably just have to wait. Can't believe he's not doing NYC either... at least not the way it looks now.

Based on feedback since yesterday afternoon, here's my revised estimate on the U.S. tour, with Bob's matrix. This does fit better, and I totally missed that there was only one S after the two M's. So how about these suggestions?
