Hi everyone, Is there a seating plan available for these concerts? Thanks! Andrew.
I haven't seen one yet. In fact, I haven't seen info on the pre-sale date and ticket prices. I guess they are waiting until all Japanese concerts are announced.
Thanks, Carlos. The ticket prices (from outthere-japantour.com) are: S seat 17,500 yen (I'm guessing this is probably most or all tickets on the field) A seat 15,500 yen (probably lower/nearer stands) B seat 13,500 yen (probably higher/further away stands) So, this should what Crowdsurge charges, assuming they handle the PM.com presale. Oh, and the current pre-sale (Pia premium) ends on the 7th, but there may well be another one after that. Cheers, Andrew.
Most of the stands are also categorized as S. Ticket Pia and Kyodo (Ouththere tour's official ticket agency and organizer in Japan) are really terrible. In thier 'official presales,' they don't disclose location of your seat even after payment is done but don't accept cancellation, and charge a lot of handling fees. Crowdsurge is far better than them.
Thanks for the info TaT! Have you seen a seating plan for the concert somewhere? Cheers, Andrew.
Not yet. I think it will be like Seoul, but not sure.

No presale for McCartney.com registered members??? General sale will begin on April 19, but I think this one is designed for residents in Japan and those who can read Japanese. Presales done by Ticket Pia and local radio stations were also only for residents in Japan. It seems they don't want to let outsiders in.

Here are the official merchandise items: http://outthere-japantour.com/goods_acc.php I can't read Japanese, so is it possible to buy them online, or only in person at the concerts?

Hi Carlos, I had a look at the link using Google Chrome as my browser (it has automatic translation), and it seems to be all about purchasing at the venues and nothing about online.

The day has arrived: the Japanese leg begins later today! Who will be there?

I wonder - with yesterday's release of the robot music video - whether he'll be playing Appreciate perhaps with a cameo from the robot since it came on the plane with them.

http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/tokyo-national-stadium-17th-may-rescheduled "Thank you for such a beautiful and warm welcome to your country. I've unfortunately had to postpone tonight?s show in Tokyo. I came down with a virus on Friday and following a visit from doctors, I've been told not to perform tonight. I am very sorry to all my fans as I was greatly looking forward to the concert, but the situation is out of my hands. Along with the doctors, I'm doing all I can to ensure I will be better for tomorrow night's show and the rest of my time in Japan. We are planning to replay this show on Monday. I really hope you can make it. Love, Paul"

Tough situaion. Lets hope there is nothing serious going on on Pauls health. Big disapointment for Japan fans..
-
Hopefully it's just a simple cold and he'll feel beter after some rest.
-
I hope he is okay.

All shows postponed:

I wonder what his ailment is? I must admit I've been worried about him pushing himself too hard in recent months. Even when he's not touring he hardly ever seems to stay at home and relax (except when he has Beatrice, but even then he probably stays busy with projects like the Appreciate video), and must be in a constant state of jetlag with all the traveling he does. Can be hard on anyone, let alone someone pushing 72. Maybe his body is trying to tell him to slow down and take it easy. Hope he gets well soon!
-
Once one gig was postponed it was always likely the other wouldn't go ahead too, perhaps he needs to slow down just a touch, like it or not he isnt a young man anymore and maybe he himself needs to reconise this i'd sooner him take things easier now and have him round for a good few years yet rather push himself into the ground.

Has anyone had a stomach virus, the flu, a cold, etc? Ever since I was a child and have had children, I have yet to see anyone feel well enough in a 2 day period to just resume activities at any level except those that can be done from a bed or while resting. If it is a flu it could take a week to 10 days to fully recover. The danger is relapse or it turning into something more ominous like pneumonia which is why caution should prevail. And this is really true at any age, although the younger we are the less likely we are to take precautions.

Absolutely. It really takes at least a week before you feel better and it's so easy to relapse if you push it too quickly. What worries me is that Paul, eager to reassure everyone that he's fine, will come out of this too fast, overdo it, and end up getting sicker yet. Given how private he's been his whole life about his health, I bet it's stressing him out no end that we all know he's sick. I hope his team and Nancy are forcing him to rest and relax. He's so thin already. It's not like he can afford to lose a lot of weight. REST, Paul. The fans will still be there when you feel better.
