What Keeps You Coming Back?

His concerts remind me there is hope in the world!

I'm onto my third McCartney show this summer, and was wondering what it is about it that all of you like, and keeps you coming back. For me, I feel at peace with myself. I feel like the world is a better place when I'm at a McCartney show. (Also dancing all night long) What about you? What do you love about seeing Paul?
Sad to say but nothing, I have had enough. Prices too high for someone who does not play the music from his vast catalog live that I want to hear.

I hope I don't regret missing the upcoming Nashville show, but I'm gonna wait until next year to see him again.

I've lost track of the number of shows I've been too. There is a large group of friends, it is as much meeting up with friends and hanging out as it is about the show. It is always a fun time! Someone once put it nicely, they said "When you go to an amusement park and come off a great ride, do you say 'That's it Lets Go Home?!" Of course not, you say "Hey, that was Awesome!! Let's do it Again!!!' Well, it's the same with Paul's shows! Same feeling. You can complain about setlist, but you know you can hear Paul do a song a million times and still feel super! There will come a day when the touring will stop. I want to be able to someday look back and say, "Man, we had terrific times!" Podgie (I'll be the most content old man in the nursing home, rocking in a chair, and looking back on memories) Monkey

The joy I experience hearing/seeing Paul perform live.

I hope Paul keeps touring for many years to come.
-
The reason for me is simple, if i cant get enough of listenning to Paul n Beatles music on a daily basis, and to top it off by going to shows where these songs are played live by the man himself, should be enough reason to make me come back for more. Seoul gonna be my 1st repeat show.
-
Because I "love, love, love" him & his music, and have for more than 50 years!
-
The fact that even though I have to attend shows alone and sit in nosebleed seats behind a wall, Paul makes you feel like you can be sitting on stage next to him experiencing the show as much as anyone else!
-
Because it's literally the greatest thing ever.

coming back? I never Left! lol. I have gone to see Paul a few times. and each time, His energy(Humanitarian, Meditative, loving energy), keeps me coming back to see him! his Spiritual Side as well. takes me into another de-mention . all his energy floats out onto the audience. we send it back to him on stage to heal. love, give to him what he has given to us, LOVE,PEACE Musical energy that I cannot stop my music when he is near me. and I am Not Inspired by anyone like this! it is hard to Impress me! Paul's Intention is to Heal, love and Inspire us to do more, for the Universe. for us to carry on with Faith Joy and Understanding of why were are here, to serve one another. Paul Is Calm, enticing, instrumental in sending loving energy's for all of us to Tone is down, who no frown, to help our fellow Man. is his True Plan. although he is just a Guy. and he is shy, and he put's it to Music and words and lyrics and tunes. to get us all into the "MOOD". he is just an Ordinary Guy. who is Blessed to address our needs and wants. through his songs. all day long. he does not owe us any thing. you can do what He does, he helps other's who have less than us. he is OUR gift and should be treated with Respect and Privacy and Honor him, buy buying his tunes. and supporting those who have less that we do, to help those move forward in "Grace and Ease". I have learned most thing's in Life from Paul. and how to Survive it all! for I have seen way to much, in my path of life. but made me stronger for it all. so I thank Paul. this is a Small Interpretation of why I like Paul! their is More! of course remember he is just a Guy. he get's all Shy about it all.

So is anyone here excited to be seeing Paul soon? There's nothing like the sound a Paul crowd makes when those lights go out. My God! And in the end......
-
It's all about the tunes. The band is good, Paul has thrown some gems in just often enough to keep me coming back for more. Love that he plays so damn long after all these years.

You're so right, Lonely Road. The volume it reaches is insane. It's also fun to clap and do the wave before the show too.

Podgie, well said,... maybe the best post ever!... Save me a chair in the nursing home, let's try and get front row close to center! I hope to see you soon at the ROCK SHOW!

Yes, we need a Beatles-themed retirement home. Studies have shown that music can be helpful with memory loss.

Silly question!
