Favorite Beatles Era?

Hendrix Ibsen:
When they were all alive and making music, I was not.
Had they all lived longer and continued to make music later, you might have still been born. I'm only assuming, of course. I can't possibly know for sure.
-
Dawg I might even opine in some moods it's their pre-international fame days when they dressed sexy and had sexy messy greasy hair and when, John claimed, he for one had so much outrageous fun, more than ever before or since "making show" in Hamburg when anything goes and the boys tore it up for hours and hours on stage-- mostly heedless of what impression they were making--all immersed, caught up in the thrill of unrestrained wild" out there" original, spontaneousl interpretations of songs they loved! They was a bad mama jamma All very exciting and new

I love all of their eras. It's so hard to just pick one. They were all fantastic. Although if I had to pick an era, I would pick 1964 because that's when their careers were blooming and their happiness was carried into their songs. You could really feel the beauty and the happiness shining from their music.

Good pick - it IS a tough one! I'd probably say And I Love Her or Yesterday. Then again, A Hard Day's Night and Beatles for Sale were two really great albums. Both of them have some of my favorite Beatles songs on them. -Rubber Soul13
-
Yesterday was 1965! My favorite is If I Fell (from 1964)

Oops, then And I Love Her takes the cake! I also like If I Fell. The movie scene from AHDN is great -- especially when George nearly knocks the amp over! -Rubber Soul13

ah man that entire movie really knocks me out. I love the scene when they were being interviewed by all those reporters and Paul kept saying "No actually, we're just good friends." Although, I'd have to say that my favourite song in the AHDN album is Things We Said Today ~

Yeah, the whole movie was great. My favorite part either had to be the opening scene or the concert scene. -Rubber Soul13

I could see AHDN 1000 times and not get tired of it!
