Paul McCartney & Taylor Swift sing 'Shake It Off'

This is so incredible that deserves its own thread... Paul McCartney singing a Taylor Swift song!

Worst. Song. Ever.

But at least he is relevant to the younger crowd now.

But HEYYYYYYYYYYY it seems Paul plays Rickenbacker? Bass. It's isn't 100% not the Hofner

Yes, a lefty! Maybe the coolest thing about this.

Thanks for the links. I wish Paul and Prince had played together. http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/02/snls-40th-anniversary-after-party-lasted-till-4am-featured-prince-paul-mccartney-and-taylor-swift-as-the-house-band/ parlance

You're welcome. Here are Paul and Dan Aykroyd... if Chevy Chase were onstage, they could have done "Spies Like Us"

That might be the only occasion where a live "Spies Like Us" could be done right.

Not particularly a fan of Taylor Swift, but she's okay; I like a few of her songs. She can play, she can write, she can sing, and she's doing a lot to raise awareness of the crappy royalties that musicians get from streaming services like Spotify. She gets good reviews; who am I to judge? Probably worth mentioning that Paul's daughter is eleven years old and likely becoming a music consumer now.

Worst. Song. Ever.
Well, that's debatable.

Let the debates begin.

White-washed rip-off of Pharrell's "Happy."
-
Songs that are worse: What Goes On (The Beatles!) Tiptoe Through The Tulips (Tiny Tim) She Bangs (William Hung)
-
I'd call it a four-way tie. A five-way tie if you include Scotty McCreery's "I Love You This Big."
-
He's NOT playing the Hofner. That's the most exciting thing he's done in ages.

As if "Happy" wasn't white-washed enough. What happened to the old Pharrell? :
-
I guess he just wants a new audience and get rid of the old.
-
I was hoping he and Taylor would collaborate (on or off stage) at some point!
