Happy about "Can't Buy Me Love" - been a long time since that one was in the set and I was just saying to a friend the other day that it would be nice to have it come back in. It's a fun and fast one that gets the audience going and always one of my favorite Beatles songs. "Hope for The Future" will be one new song for me, so I'll have that. And the rest is the rest. I keep my expectations for Paul's setlist changes very low, to be honest.
I suppose at this point in the game, what does he have to gain by making radical changes? He is selling out arenas and stadiums without having to move much around. Audiences don't demand anything of him, so why should he give them anything different? Pulling down a cool $2 to $3 million a show ain't bad!

And once again, a bit more rehearsing needed, haha. (Why can we STILL not embed YouTube links?!) -
Not a bad setlist for the third year of a tour. Really hoping for a new tour this fall or next year with a fresh setlist. Remember how we were all so excited about this set in 2013? lol

I still am. 2 friggin' years on and we still didn't get to hear it over here. And 1 mega addition gone already. But 'Can't Buy Me Love' instead of 'All My Loving', the swap we all hoped for.

CBML is an awesome addition!

I'm not too enthralled by the setlist changes. I mean, yeah... "Can't Buy Me Love" is cool. But adding "Hope for the Future" at this point seems WAY too late at this point. In fact, the whole way Paul's team handled the roll out and promotion of the song was messed up. The game came out in September 2014, the song is really hyped up in December 2014, and now, in April, he now finally plays the song live?

Paul logic I hope he puts Everybody Out There back in the set list for Europe.

if not, it would be very sad for us here!

Really..? People complaining... You people are never happy.. So do you guys think HFTF will stay? I'm wondering if it was just for the Japanese shows.. I suppose the same with "Can't Buy Me Love".. Who knows... I would assume the Tokyo shows should be interesting. I wonder if anything will turn up at the Budokan. Possibly "Long Tall Sally" "She's a Woman".. We can only hope.

My money says no major changes. But it would be cool! I don't read complaints as much as observations and head scratching about Hope.

I was excited for -- literally -- one day. Then it occurred to me that there was only ONE song in the setlist recorded after 1980. Granted, at the time, this was still several months prior to the release of NEW (another timing-blunder, courtesy of the Paul McCartney Promotions Keystone Cops Division), so the five album tracks were welcome, if not long-overdue, additions.

Yep and once again it was "Here Today" which has only been done because it is a tribute to Mr. Lennon.
-
Yes, he should do more... But "Hope for the Future" is a song aimed for only his diehard fans. This song isn't for the "Beatles" casual crowd. I welcome its addition.
-
Shockingly scant YouTube vids from this show.

Duly noted.

It's a shame the one crumb he throws his diehard fans is an irrelevant piece of garbage he wrote for a video game.

Here's why I don't give Paul McCartney a lot of slack -- regardless of his age: His very own Facebook shares images of hysterical fans in Japan and South America, conveying that Maccamania = Beatlemania. Well, if he's gonna act like a rock star, he needs to step up his game as a rock performer.
