Still not sure if it's worth me spending nearly two grand for a couple of weekend passes, though.

Not even sure if I can GET a couple of grand for that, I could find a way.... (although yes, I am being ignorant with a bit/lot of that offering, but not really all that interested in opening up my "MIND" to it)...

Oh, no, just cherry pick what you like and go see them in venues if you want to. I can understand festivals aren't for everyone. And especially not the warm US summer ones!

What about regular Europe concerts (not festivals)? I heard that maybe he'll perform in Europe in late May - early June (places he never played awhile like Spain, Italy etc.), what do you think about it? Or maybe it sounds far-fetched?

Can we say **** in here?
You can't say ****, **** or ****. And definitely not ****.

Billy Joel performed in Albuquerque at Tingley Coliseum in 1979.
Then it's about time for a return.

You think that Paul can go back to New York in 2016 for concerts in the big stadiums in -July- or concert indoor arenas in -May / June-. (MSG - Barklays center)???

He's way overdue for a NY area show. I think the last one he did was Barclays. I can't even remember the last MSG show... in '05? Other than Yankee Stadium and Citifield, were there any other recents (other than benefits and TV appearances)?

There was also the Irving Plaza show last February.

Yes, it's very plausible. But the overkill-factor over here will be kicking in heavily if he will be confirmed for Pinkpop, and the tickets will not sell as fast as what Pinkpop needs with an expensive act like that ------ Trust me, you don't even wanna go to Pinkpop for free, haha. ------ Really, he played 2 gigs over here half a year ago which were a hard ticket to sell, even the die-hards will skip Pinkpop, with it being in the middle of nowhere and tickets more expensive than a regular arena gig over here... Plus Pinkpop won't attract a whole new crowd for him, unlike the golden moves at Roskilde, Lollapalooza, etc.
--------- Sorry, but I do not completely agree with this (also being a Dutchmen BTW): - pinkpop tickets were 95 euro last year, that's 4 euro CHEAPER than Ziggo arena tickets for Paul's shows in April 2015. - pinkpop is not "in the middle of nowhere". It is less than an hour from Cologne, an hour from Brussels, even just 4 hours from Paris. Low budget airport Eindhoven, Weeze or Charleroi are an hour only. The are trains to the major Dutch cities. It's located in Holland's second most crowded area. Other main festivals are in the middle of nowhere and are still a success. Pinkpop will attract fans from France, Belgium, Gemany, UK, and possibly other countries. - the atmosphere is not as bad as you describe it. Yes the food is fish and chips style, but what do you expect at a festival ? I'd rather have this than seeing rich people drinking champagne from plastic glasses (Paul at Earl's Court 2003) or drinking German sekt also from plastic glasses (Paul at Cologne). Many people love this festival, and are even proud of it, because it's the world's oldest festival an because of the atmosphere. National television broadcasts for 3 days, all you see is happy people having fun. The pinkpop team is extremely dedicated. Paul will like that, we will like Paul (if he comes). - diehard fans will not bypass this opportunity. They will be given a chance to see Paul from " the grass in the meadow"., glass o beer in hand and living the free life. They even can decide they want to be front row while not having to pay $500 for "Hot seats". Also they will be spared the bunch of millionaires at the front rows that only know 3 songs but still have the best seats in the house... - The april 2015 shows were not immediate sell-outs, but the first one sold well, hence the second show. Yes Paul plays a lot of songs over and over again, but I don't think that will stop people fom buying tickets. That's what the audience expect. They are not going to buy tickets to hear Darkroom, Kreen akrore or Good sign..... The only thing that I would be worried about when he would play pinkpop, is how to get tickets. These can go VERY fast. Finally, this is all rumours now. Let's wait and see what happens. Expectations are just expectations. Reality may be different. Problems occur when expectations do not match reality .

Hey Mick Jagger visited Pinkpop back around the late 70's (not to play, just to watch) so it's ok in my book!

Yes, but only because his act Peter Tosh was playing there. He returned with the Stones just a few years ago. Their private airplane with big tongue logo actually flew over my garden when they left the country. Rumours of Mccartney playing pinkpop have been around for years and years...... First seeing then believing.

I'm sorry, but, Paul is "overdue for a NY area show"? NYC has had PLENTY of opportunities over the last 7 years to see him, whether it be in a stadium, an arena, intimate venues, benefits, and TV appearances. With the exception of 2014, Paul has had some sort of event happening in NYC, with the most recent being the Irving Plaza show in February 2015.

Wish he'd play Winston-Salem, N.C. I'd move heaven and earth to go this time. It's a big city near others in the Triad of Greensboro/High Point/ Winston Salem and peeps from all over would flock there to see him and band. From Virginia and Tenn. too. And other locations. Winston Salem is also near Asheville and Charlotte.

COULD IT BE?!
