One on One Tour

Out There opening night setlist watch was insane. It was crazy. I was at opening night of On the Run, so can't really say what it was like on here.... But this board was poppin that night in 2013 in a way I had never seen before or since... Possibly never again Unless we are in for a huge surprise!

I've noticed on the venue seat maps that the square box in front of the stage that represented the small poorly received rising stage on the Out There tour is missing this time? I guess we'll find out soon enough if it is indeed gone.
Oh God, I hope so!! Hated that thing!

The one I'd like to hear that he's never done live is Oh! Darling. Though it would be a challenge vocally. But he could do it without the screams.
He could never hit the notes even minus the screams. I can sing it in the original key and I'm a female who can sing all the Paul high parts! I would like him to do Take It Away, Silly Love Songs, Beautiful Night and What You're Doing.

maybe there will be a new album to plug...

Probably won't be ready in time for when the tour starts. Rusty indicated that recording was going to start soon, though.

Fingers crossed!
I hoped so too, but then I saw the seating plan for Vancouver... http://s1.ticketm.net/tm/en-us/tmimages/venue/maps/van/69294s.gif Unfortunately, I think it's probably just the case that the others aren't that detailed.

I'm sticking with my prediction of around 10 new/resurrected songs. And with no album to plug that opens up a couple of spots. We'll know soon. Some sooner than others!
I'm with you on this, moptops. For anything less, why even bother changing the tour name (apart from the obvious commercial reasons), especially given the number of changes that occurred over the course of the Out There tour?

I am solo looking forward! Another tour - wow! I hope the set list will be interesting.
-
Come on y'all it's exciting he's launching a new tour !! What's with all the griping, look at the big picture
-
It's not a "new" tour; he's just back on the road after a break. This upcoming leg will have a surprise or two, but it will basically be the same show Paul McCartney has been doing since 1989.

Yup.

So...what colour jacket do we think he'll wear opening night? Will the braces (suspenders) be back? Will he have a new haircut? :

So I wonder which songs from "New" will be dropped. Maybe he'll use different songs from New? I know NancyR & I would vote for Appreciate.

Very good point. I suspected he'd drop the NEW songs but he might substitute for alternate NEW tracks. Didn't Abe or a someone else say once they rehearsed each song from the album? Without a current release to flog, he just might do what you suggest Oobu.

That poor ol robot Newman may be layin in a heap over in the corner, rusting a bit...time to shine him up & get your money's worth out of him Paul. Yes, I think one of the guys did actually say they had played the entire album through.

I hope that he will drastically change his setlist

What if "one on one" refers to an app that you download and enter a unique code for each concert, where you get to vote live on which song he plays next? one on one, the interactive concert experience..... Or that one on one is the name of the new album? The useless speculation continues, we will know soon enough.

vote on what he plays...haha...as long as it's Yesterday, Blackbird, Hey Jude, etc. What if it's a One on One duel? As in pirates? Paul could be a swashbuckler.

I heard that he's written a new song: "Hey, everybody one-on-one! (oh oh oh oh) Everybody one-on-one!"
