PreSale for Website Members

Hi, Quick question regarding the presale for registered accounts with PaulMcCartney.com... I registered a few years ago and received the emails with the link for the presale. A friend is also trying to register for the website. 1 - Will he receive a link for the website presale on Monday? 2 - Does registering for the website only involve entering one's details in the "Sign Up" on the upper right corner of the homepage? It's been a while so I can't really remember. Thanks and good luck to anyone trying to get a ticket!! -Rubber Soul13

I signed up and get emails for new announcements... Beware tho...ticketmaster has continously released tickets after the presale and General sale that were far better than originally offered..I'm having a battle with Ticketmaster now on this...

All you have to do is hit signup. Then click presale link from website or email. I've bought through Paul's website 4 or 5 times. The tickets ticketmaster releases are usually blocks they have set aside for gold silver and soundcheck packages. They will be sold as regular tickets about 3 weeks out. But saying that, I bought regular $250 tickets for st. Louis on presale. I got row 8. Now when I go to pull up gold tickets they are in row 16 of exact same section. So sometimes it is better to buy early.

Thanks for the info, you two. It's appreciated! -Rubber Soul13

You and your friend will NOT get emails with links to the presale. You can find the links either here on the boards (the mods will start a thread), or on the News page of the main website. Use those links to get to the presale on TM. When you get to TM you will need to use the password "offer code" to unlock the presale. There are some regular priced seats in there, tho agree it is not many. You should see the drop down for them. Good luck!

Guess some presales are different. Every one I've done in the website hasn't been through ticketmaster. I clicked on your page went down to the show date and clicked the presale link. Then it ask for email address to enter presale. Once that is entered I've been taken to crowdsurge to purchase tickets. This has been the process for both st. Louis shows I've got tickets for as well as Memphis, Indy, Nashville, and Louisville. All of those were crowdsurge tickets. The other shows I went to I just bought on General sale from ticketmaster. Good rule of thumb though. Go ahead and type your email or presale password in box before official start time. As soon as the clock strikes 8 hit the button and select seats as quick as possible be sure you know what tickets you want to go for and how many.

I've been wondering about that...last year I got tix through the fan presale (first time), and was disappointed it didn't have the "print your tickets" option. (I can't relax until the tix are in my hand, well in advance!) They were sold through Crowdsurge. I even contacted them about it, and they informed me they only did mailing. With AmEx, I've always been able to print tix. So, is it going to be Ticketmaster handling everything this time, or will Crowdsurge do the fan presale? If it's Crowdsurge again, I just may wait for the AmEx sale.

Some of the presales this year have NOT used Crowdsurge. It is important to read the info that is posted about each presale to see which method is being used. The announcements on the News page clearly say if the presale is being held directly on TicketMaster. Here is the language for the NJ show: Pre-sale tickets for Paul's East Rutherford concert at the MetLife Stadium will be available through Ticketmaster from 8am (EDT / 1pm BST) on Monday 18th April. The password for this pre-sale will be: 1ON1WITHPAUL No Crowdsurge. But you have to access TM using the links from here.

Sadly you can't do this with the TM presales.. The links here take you to the TM page , but TM doesn't load the drop down or the "got offer code." box until the presale start time.

Thanks for the clarification! Good to know. Guess I just don't trust it: I got so caught up with the excitement and nervousness last time with the presale, with the clock counting down, etc., etc., it wasn't till afterwards I asked myself: "Wait! Where is the print option???" Ticket sales really do make me crazy...

How does the pre-sale work?? In the pass I know I received a code. Now never any mail from site. So if Boston tickets go on a pre-sale the 29th how does that work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Unlike my answer above for New Jersey, looks like Boston will be a Crowdsurge/Songkick presale. No code is needed; you do need to have your email address registered with the site. PRE-SALE DETAILS: Fans registered with PaulMcCartney.com by 11am (local / 4pm BST) on Friday 29th April will be eligible to purchase pre-sale tickets for Paul's Boston concert through the website at 12pm (local / 5pm BST) on the same day (Friday 29th April). Register with PaulMcCartney.com by clicking HERE! Then on the day of the presale, go here where the mods will start a thread with a link to the presale page - or to the News page on the site, where there will be a link. Enter your email address, and you should be in!

When do they send out the email with the link? Is it just before the tickets go on sale? I have never seen Paul live and I am terrified that something is going to go wrong and I won't be able to get tickets.

I think they email is a couple days before. But I do not use that link. I go to paulmccartney.com. pull up. Live link. The link that displays your dates. There will be a link next to the venue that says get presale tickets. I clicked that link then came to page to enter email address to enter presale. Note: May be different for ticketmaster presales, Not very familiar with those.

Thanks for the reply. Pre-sale is tomorrow and I haven't received an email yet. I'm nervous that the pre-sale link through the website won't work for me, but I know I'm registered. I have been waiting my whole life for this. I'm a single mom and have never been able to go see him because of money and traveling (the closest he ever comes to me is 3 hours away) and babysitting etc. My kids are teenagers now and I have saved and saved. Going to see Ringo this summer too, so it would be a dream come true to see both of them!

Hello and welcome to the forum! You won't need an e-mail. The pre sale links for all concerts are posted in this forum on the day of the respective pre sale. Later today or tomorrow morning PaulMcCartney.com will create a thread titled "Fenway Park Pre-sale Thread" (or something similar) where you will find all the details you need to participate in the pre-sale. I wish you the best of luck in getting tickets!

ok.. thanks! (For the info and for the luck!) I'm so nervous! If I don't get tickets tomorrow, do I still have a chance or is all hope lost? I won't be able to get online the day they go on sale to the general public until around 12:45 because of work.

There is an Amex pre-sale: American Express(R) Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Monday, May 2 at 10am EST through Thursday, May 5 at 10pm EST.

I don't have an AmEx card. I have a couple more questions because I am so new to this. Should I accept the first 2 tickets that come up no matter what, in the thinking that I might lose all chance for ANY tickets if I do? Or should I try for better seats since this is probably the only time I will see him live? Is it better to be far back on the floor or up in the bowl if I can't get good floor tickets? For floor seats, is Row A closest to the stage or Row Z? Also, if it says No Tickets Found that Match or whatever, do I just keep clicking Search Again, or do I need to actually refresh the whole page and start over, entering the code each time, etc.? I asked this in another thread, but if I don't get tickets tomorrow, is all hope lost, realistically? I would get to the general public sale next week about 45 minutes late because of work. It looks like they sell out quickly. If I am willing to spend the money, should I just try for something like the Silver Hot Seat tickets right away before those sell out? Are those usually good seats? Sorry I am so full of questions. I am just so excited/nervous! I've hardly eaten anything in the last 2 days because I am so full of nervous energy!

RowmA is usally.closest to stage. In my opinion lower bowl seat is better than far back on floor. I always know what I want before I go into the presale. I always get what pips up first. You can try again but many times it will say no tickets availiable you have to keep hitting search again. Eventually more will pop up for another hour or so. But mostly the ones that pop up after the initial rush are singles. I would go for a good before a silver. At least it's price level 1. Regular price level 1 tickets the $250 ones are better than silver you just don't get the merchandise item. All silver tickets are price level 2. Hope this answers some questions.
