WixRocks!:
Fab show...been a long and winding night. Just briefly popping on here to let everyone know the show was fantastic as always. At 10:50pm last evening, just about the time we were all singing "Let it Be" with the man, my grandfather lost his battle with lung cancer. Tonight's show with my aunt, his sister-in-law whom she's known since age 3 and the woman that taught me to play piano at her first Paul show, will be a very, very emotional and much needed rejuvenating experience. Thank you Paul, for the bliss of the concert world...and God bless my family for not calling me until they knew I was home at 1am. I'll give more detailed reviews of both shows, per usual, tomorrow.
So sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers and deepest sympathy will be with you and your family.

Wix Rocks, I am so sorry to hear that your grandfather lost his battle with lung cancer. So did my brother a few years ago; he would have been around Paul's age.I also lost an older sister from smoking. We need to catch what is important to us in life while we can. :
Too many people lost due to cancer. So sorry to hear this Wix. I lost my husband 2 months ago (it wasn't cancer related). As Dia said "We need to catch what is important to us in life while we can."

My condolences to you. "Let It Be" lends itself to such cosmic coincidences, as I can attest.

Sorry for your loss, WixRocks. Maybe you can dedicate tonights concert to the memory of your grandfather. I am looking forward to reading reports tonight, as I have to live vicariously through the concert goers until my turn in October.

SACRAMENTO!!
That's great...gotta wonder if the set changes up slightly being just a week before the Indio Fests. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

That would be neat, use Sacramento as a rehearsal for Indio!

Yes, it replaced "Letting Go." It was good to hear again, along with "I Saw Her Standing There," which replaced "Hi Hi Hi." I prefer the swaps but I assume they will return only for the second Cleveland show.

Really good show, but for me I enjoy them all. Paul brought up only 1 fan tonight. A Japanese guy it was a lot of fun. When I sit On Brian's side he always fakes throwing the tambourine in to the audience and then throws it to Brian, security Brian, on the side. I met him at a bar a while back and I told him throw me the tambourine and I'll give it back I promise, and he laughed. Well tonight he did throw it to me. Real happy I caught it after a fun night and a few drinks. Could have been a disaster. Does anybody remember him throwing it to anybody but Brian?

Went with a friend who had never seen Paul before. She said it was the best concert she had ever been to. Hopefully will write more once I'm back home.

Congratulations on the tambourine Quite a treasure you have!

Tonight's show was even more rockin than last night's I could see how Paul feeds off the energy of the crowd.

Forget 64.....I saw you with the tambourine but now realized you gave it back. I was looking at Wix and he had a tambourine in his hand, next thing I saw was you with a tambourine so I didn't notice Brian Ray with a tambourine. Wix didn't have his gold lava lamp or the pink one which I noticed last night. I hope they didn't get broken during setting up. I admired Linda so much.
